Excavate hole large enough to accommodate basin, backfill material, and inlet piping.- Add 4 to 6 inches of clean backfill material or concrete to the bottom of the hole, making sure that it is level, compacted, and smooth.
- Place the basin in the hole and make sure that it is level.
- Carefully backfill with naturally rounded gravel or stone (larger than 3/8 in. and smaller than 3/4 in. diameter) around the periphery of the basin.
- Connect all piping as required.
- Finish the floor around the basin as required.
