EVERBILT 90683 Vertical Rail Joiner Add On

The Vertical Rail Joiner-Add-On is a product that helps to connect two vertical rails. Product Usage Instructions

Scenario 2 Concrete
- Place the Drilling Template Box on the concrete surface where you want to install the Vertical Rail Joiner.
- Mark the holes on the concrete using a marker or pen.
- Drill the holes using a hammer drill and masonry bit.
- Insert the anchors provided in the package into the holes.
- Attach the Vertical Rail Joiner to the anchors using the screws provided.
Scenario 3 Drywall
- Place the Drilling Template Box on the drywall surface where you want to install the Vertical Rail Joiner.
- Mark the holes on the drywall using a marker or pen.
- Drill the holes using a drill and the appropriate bit for drywall.
- Insert the anchors provided in the package into the holes.
- Attach the Vertical Rail Joiner to the anchors using the screws provided.

Use and Care Guide Vertical Rail Joiner-Add-On
Installation
SCENARIO 1 STUD
- Push vertical rail joiner (A) up into the top vertical rail as shown, and secure the vertical rail joiner (A) on hole B with Panhead screw (#12 x 2 in.) (see Fig. 1).
- Put the lower vertical rail as shown and secure the lower vertical rail on hole C and D with a Panhead screw (#12 x 2 in.) (see Fig. 2).
SCENARIO 2 CONCRETE
- Tear the drilling template box (H) according to the dashed line (see Fig. 3).
- Align the drilling template box (H) as a locator as shown and mark the holes on the wall (see Fig. 4).
- Drill 1/4 in. holes and insert wall anchors (1/4 in.) into holes B, C, and D (see Fig. 5).
- Push vertical rail joiner (A) up into the top vertical rail as shown, and secure the vertical rail joiner (A) on hole B with a Panhead screw (#12 x 2 in.) (see Fig. 6).
- Put the lower vertical rail as shown and secure it on holes C and D with a Panhead screw (#12 x 2 in.) (see Fig. 7).
SCENARIO 3 DRYWALL
- Tear the drilling template box (H) according to the dashed line (see Fig. 8).
- Align the drilling template box (H) as a locator as shown and mark the holes on the wall (see Fig. 9).
- Drill 1/4 in. holes for holes B and C, and drill 1/2 in. hole for hole D. Insert wall anchors (1/4 in.) into holes B and C (see Fig. 10).
- Push vertical rail joiner (A) up into the top vertical rail as shown, secure the vertical rail joiner (A) on hole B with a Panhead screw (#12 x 2 in.) (see Fig. 11). ut the lower vertical rail as shown and secure it on hole C with a Panhead screw (#12 x 2 in.) and on hole D with toggle (3/16 in.) and bolt (3 in.) (see Fig. 12). Make sure the toggle (3/16 in.) and the bolt (3 in.) are installed on the lower vertical rail before secure.
