Intended use
The LED rechargeable work lamp DWL 2500 10.8/18.0 is designed for for commercial use in industry and trade,

  • checking large surfaces during polishing, painting and cleaning as well as colour matching
  • for targeted illumination of the workplace,
  • for illuminating rooms

The LED rechargeable work lamp DWL 2500 10.8/18.0 is not suitable for use as a headlight.

Safety instructions for LED rechargeable work lamps

WARNING!
Read all safety warnings and all instructions. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injuries. Save all warnings and instructions for future reference.

  • Do not use the LED rechargeable work lamp in a potentially explosive environment.
  • Do not point the light beam at people or animals and do not look into the light beam, even from far away.
  • Do not cover the lamp head while the LED rechargeable work lamp is in use. The lamp head heats up when in use and the accumulating heat may cause burns.
  • The light source of this lamp cannot be replaced. You must replace the entire lamp if it no longer works due to a defect or because its service life has expired.
  • Do not use the LED rechargeable work lamp in road traffic.
  • Remove the battery from the rechargeable work lamp before transporting, storing or performing any work on the rechargeable work lamp (e.g. installation, maintenance, etc.).
  • Do not let children use the LED rechargeable work lamp. It is designed for professional use. Children may be accidentally blinded or may blind others.
  • Do not open the battery. There is a risk of a short-circuit.
  • Protect the battery from heat, e.g. from continuous exposure to sunlight, fire, water and humidity. There is a risk of explosion.
  • If the battery is damaged or used improperly, fumes may be emitted. Provide fresh air and consult a doctor if you feel unwell. The fumes may irritate the respiratory tract.
  • Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with another battery pack.
  • Pointed objects, such as nails or screwdrivers, or external forces may damage the battery. This may cause an internal short-circuit and the battery to burn, smoke, explode or overheat.
  • The light source contained in this luminaire shall only be replaced by the manufacturer or his service agent or a similar qualified person.

Instructions for use

WARNING!
Remove the battery before carrying out any work on the power tool.

Before switching on the power tool
Unpack power tool and accessories and check that no parts are missing or damaged.

Inserting/replacing the battery

  • Press charged battery fully into the power tool.

  • To remove the battery, press the release buttons (1.) and pull out the battery (2.).

CAUTION!
When the device is not in use, protect the battery contacts. Loose metal parts may short-circuit the contacts; there is a risk of explosion and fire!

Battery state of charge

  • Press the button to check the state of charge at the state of charge indicator LEDs.

The indicator goes out after 5 seconds. If one of the LEDs flashes, the battery must be recharged. If none of the LEDs light up after the button is pressed, the battery is faulty and must be replaced.

  • Switch the LED rechargeable work lamp on and off by pressing the on/off switch.

Adjusting light intensity
The light intensity of the LED rechargeable work lamp can be adjusted by pressing “+” or “-“.
The LED display on the left indicates the remaining lighting duration.

Adjusting colour temperature
You can change the colour temperature of the LED rechargeable work lamp incrementally in 5 stages by pressing the on/off switch for longer than 2 seconds and then pressing the “+” and “-” button.

Bluetooth® control
The LED rechargeable work lamp can be controlled via the integrated Bluetooth® light control system. Activate by pressing the “Bluetooth® button” and connect to the app.

  • Select colour temperature
  • Connect up to 4 lamps together
  • Select pin code so that no one else can control the lamp

The process to delete the pin code is

  • Turn on the Bluetooth function.
  • Press the Bluetooth button for 10 second.
  • The pin code is reset.

Compatible with iPhone 5 or higher/Android 5.0 or higher.

Powerbank function
The LED rechargeable work lamp has an integrated powerbank. The lamp lasts for up to 2 hours with a luminous flux of 300 lumen – without rechargeable battery. With rechargeable battery- It allows mobile units, e.g. smartphones, to be charged via the USB socket.

You can set up the LED rechargeable work lamp in any position with the aid of a support stand.
