Product Usage Instructions

Installation:

To install the Snap & TrimTM assembly, follow these steps:

1. Insert posts under retainer hoods and into slots.
2. Install Snap & TrimTM assembly into open receiver head windows, ensuring proper alignment over the internal string\ eyelet.
3. Ensure Snap & TrimTM closes fully in one direction only.

Warnings:

Read and follow all instructions provided. Protect bystanders from flying debris and blade contact by wearing proper eye and body protection. Do not operate the trimmer without a shield to prevent injury. Avoid motor burn-out by feeding the trimmer slowly and gently into the cut, especially when cutting heavy vegetation.

Glider Usage:

Rest the glider directly on the ground to lift the trimmer for a better trimming experience. Control the cut height and maneuver like a vacuum cleaner. Always operate the trimmer with the grass shield in place and wear protective eyewear. Tilt the trimmer on the glider for shorter cut heights or cutting grass at ground level.

Tilt Edge Cutting:

Slightly tilt the cutting plane on the glider to sweep the rotating cutters to the surface for a clean cut. Follow specific instructions for tilt edge from grass or walkway cutting.

NO TOOLS CONVERSION

Remove original cap and spool. Load two Aero-Sharp® Line Blades over cap posts, under retainer hoods, and into slots. Install Snap & Trim™ assembly into open receiver head windows. Goes on one way only. Align properly over the internal string eyelet to fully close. Installs only one way. If S&T does not fully close, turn cap 180°.

WARNINGS

PREVENT MOTOR BURN-OUT

Slowly feed trimmer into the cut, very gently to avoid overloading the motor. Rapid cutting or plunging the cutters into heavy vegetation may risk motor burn-out.

Rest glider directly on ground/lifts the trimmer off the ground for a better trimming experience. Makes trimmer a small plot mower-maneuver like a vacuum cleaner. Controls cut height.

Tilt trimmer on the glider for shorter cut heights or if you want to cut grass at ground level.

INSTALLATION, METHODS, & USE

TILT EDGE FROM GRASS:

Slightly tilt the cutting plane on the glider and sweep the rotating cutters to the surface of the walkway up to the mower cut elevation.

Better edging method than Vertical edging. This tapers the grass cut height from the walkway surface up to lawn height. Protects grass roots from scalping. Leaves a better looking and more natural sidewalk edge. Easier on the operator.

AERO-SHARP® LINE BLADE

(PATENTED)

• They are sharper with greater kinetic energy to cut bigger vegetation. String is very dull and weak.
  • They create updraft to help lift grass into the cutters for a cleaner cut (string tends to lay grass downward due to its downdraft)
  • They are wider and flatter cutters enable a reflective color swath for a helpful visual control plane to help identify the outer cutting edge.
  • Keep the cutters away from hitting damaging obstacles such as posts, fences, and abrasive concrete surfaces.
