Product Information
The product is a 300-light set consisting of 2 strands, each with 150 lights. The UL model number is FPH-150/3F (0.51). It is designed for seasonal use and should not be permanently installed. The product comes with a safety device (fuse) and spare bulbs.
Product Usage Instructions
- Storage: When storing the product, carefully remove it from its current placement to avoid strain on the conductors, connections, and wires. Store the product neatly in a cool, dry location protected from sunlight.
- Electrical Precautions: When using electrical products, always follow these precautions:
- Read and follow all safety instructions.
- Do not unplug the product by pulling on the cord. Grasp the plug and remove it from the outlet device.
- Do not use the product outdoors unless it is specifically marked suitable for outdoor use. If using outdoors, connect it to a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupting (GFCI) outlet. If one is not available, consult a qualified electrician for proper installation.
- Do not mount or place the product near sources of heat such as gas or electric heaters, fireplace, candles, etc.
- Do not secure the wiring of the product with staples or nails, or hang it on sharp hooks.
- Unplug the product when leaving the house, retiring for the night, or if left unattended.
- This product is not a toy and should not be played with or accessible to small children.
- Do not use the product for any other purpose than its intended use.
- Do not hang ornaments or other objects from the cord, wire, or light string.
- Avoid touching the lamps or performing maintenance while the power is on.
- Fuse Replacement: To replace a blown fuse, follow these steps:
- Before changing fuses, make sure the set is unplugged.
- Using a flathead screwdriver, open the fuse cover and slide open the fuse access cover on top of the attachment plug towards the blades.
- Remove the fuses carefully.
- Replace the fuse only with a 3 Amp, 125 Volt fuse provided with the product.
- Close the fuse cover and slide closed the fuse access cover on top of the current tap. Make sure the door is fully closed and the fuses are completely covered.
- Bulb Replacement: To replace bulbs, follow these steps:
- Before changing bulbs, make sure the set is unplugged.
- Grasp the plug and remove it from the receptacle or other outlet device. Do not unplug by pulling on the cord.
- Hold the bulb by the plastic base and pull it straight out of the socket. Do not twist the bulb when inserting into the socket.
- Replace the bulb with only a 2.5 Volt, 0.425 Watt super brightness midget push-in type lamp provided with the product.
- If bulbs are twisted, part of the set may not light.
- If the spare bulbs provided have no plastic base or siding, discard the product if the current tap is damaged.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical products, basic precautions should always be followed
- READ AND FOLLOW ALL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS.
- Do not use seasonal products outdoors unless marked suitable for indoor and outdoor use. When products are used in outdoor applications, connect the product to a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupting (GFCI) outlet. If one is not provided, contact a qualified electrician for proper installation.
- This seasonal use product is not intended for permanent installation or use.
- Do not mount or place near gas or electric heaters, fireplace, candles or other similar sources of heat.
- Do not secure the wiring of the product with staples or nails, or place on sharp hooks or nails.
- Do not let lamps rest on the supply cord or on any wire.
- Unplug the product when leaving the house, when retiring for the night, or if left unattended.
- This is an electric product-not a toy! To avoid risk of fire, burns, personal injury and electric shock it should not be played with or placed where small children can reach it.
- Do not use this product for other than its intended use.
- Do not hang ornaments or other objects from cord, wire, or light string.
- Do not place lighting string on carpeting, drapes, furniture, or allow it to contact vinyl siding while the power is on.
- Do not perform any maintenance or troubleshoot for bad or broken lamps while the power is on.
- Do not close doors or windows on the product or extension cords as this may damage the wire insulation.
- Do not cover the product with cloth, paper or any material not part of the product when in use.
- This product is equipped with push-in type lamps. Do not twist lamps.
- This product employs overload protection (fuse). A blown fuse indicates an overload or short -circuit situation. If the fuse blows, unplug the product from the outlet. Also unplug any additional strings or products that may be attached to the product, Replace the fuse as per the user servicing instructions (follow product marking for proper fuse rating) and check the product. If the replacement fuse blows, a short-circuit may be present and the product should be discarded.
- Read and follow all instructions that are on the product or provided with the product.

Use and Care Instructions
- When the product is placed on a live tree, the tree should be well maintained and fresh. Do not place on live trees in which the needles are brown or break off easily. Keep the tree holder filled with water.
- If the product is placed on a tree, the tree should be well secured and stable.
- Before using or reusing, inspect product carefully. Discard any products that have cut, damaged, or frayed wire insulation or cords, cracks in the lamp holders or enclosures, loose connections, or exposed copper wire.
- When storing the product, carefully remove the product from wherever it is placed, including tree, branches, or bushes, to avoid any undue strain or stress on the product conductors, connections, and wires.
- When not in use, store neatly in a cool, dry location protected from sunlight.
User Servicing Instructions
Fuse replacement:
Most often, fuses blow because too many sets have been strung end-to-end.

Before changing fuses, make sure the set is unplugged.

Grasp plug and remove from the receptacle or other. outlet device. Do not unplug by pulling on cord.

Using a flathead screwdriver, open fuse cover. Slide open the fuse access cover on top of attachment plug towards blades.

Risk of fire. Do not replace current tap. Contains a safety device (fuse) that should not be removed. Discard product if the current tap is damaged. Bulb replacement: Before changing bulbs, make sure set is unplugged.

Step 1: Grasp plug and remove from the receptacle or other outlet device.

Step 2: Hold bulb by the plastic base and pull bulb/base straight out of socket.

Step 3: Replace lamp with only 2.5 Volt, Do not unplug by pulling on cord.
If the spare bulbs provided with the product have no plastic base or the plastic base does not fit , first follow steps 1 – 2 above. Then
- Remove the old bulb by straightening the bulb wires and pulling bulb straight from the base.
- Replace the new bulb by straightening the bulb leads and aiming each wire into a separate hole in the plastic base.
- Make sure each bulb lead comes out an exit opening at the bottom of the plastic base. Now bend each lead up such that each bulb lead fits closely against the narrow side of the plastic base.
Caution
CAUTION:
This lighting string is rated 61.2Watts (0.51 Amps), do not overload. Connect
other lighting strings or decorative outfits end-to-end up to a maximum of
216Watts (1.8 Amps) total. If connecting to a lighting string that does not
have a Wattage (W) rating {found on the tag within 6 inches of the plug}
calculate the wattage as follows:
Multiply the current (0.51A) which is on the flag-type tag by 120.
For Example: Lighting string is rated 120V, 60 Hz, 0.51 Amps. 0.51 X 120 =
61.2Watts
Add the wattage of each light string together for a total of 216Watts or less.

the National Electrical Code, this product is intended for residential
seasonal installation and use (90 day max. per year). Nicolas Holiday Ltd.’s
2-year Limited Guarantee covers repair or replacement (same or equivalent) of
this product within two (2) years from the date of purchase. Troubleshooting

Th is product is guaranteed only if it is used as intended. All accessories
that may be packed with this product, such as clips and stakes, are guaranteed
for the first season only. This Limited Guarantee does not cover: 1)
commercial applications, 2) burned out bulbs/LEDs, 3) misuse or tampering, 4)
batteries, 5) damage caused by improper consumer handling, or 6) components
that may weather, age or discolor due to a chemical reaction when exposed to
UV, oils, heat, acid rain, atmospheric oxygen and some salts.
ANY IMPLIED GUARANTEES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITA TION THE IMPLIED GUARANTEES
OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SHALL BE LI MITED TO
