Product Usage Instructions
- When storing the product, carefully remove it from tree branches or bushes to avoid strain or stress on the conductors, connections, and wires. Store the product neatly in a cool, dry location protected from sunlight.
- When using electrical products, always follow basic precautions:
- Read and follow all safety instructions provided in the user manual.
- Do not use seasonal products outdoors unless they are marked suitable for outdoor use.
- If using the product outdoors, connect it to a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupting (GFCI) outlet. If one is not available, contact a qualified electrician for proper installation.
- This seasonal use product is not intended for permanent installation or use.
- Avoid mounting or placing the product near sources of heat such as gas or electric heaters, fireplaces, candles, etc.
- Do not secure the wiring of the product with staples or nails or place it on sharp hooks.
- Unplug the product when leaving the house, retiring for the night, or if left unattended.
- Do not let lamps rest on the supply cord or any wire.
- This product is not a toy and should not be played with or placed where small children can reach it.
- Do not use this product for purposes other than its intended use.
- Do not hang ornaments or other objects from the cord, wire, or light string.
- Avoid performing any maintenance or troubleshooting for bad or broken lamps while the product is connected to power.
- Fuse Replacement:
- Before changing fuses, make sure the product is unplugged.
- Grasp the plug and remove it from the receptacle or outlet device. Do not unplug by pulling on the cord.
- Using a flathead screwdriver, open the fuse cover and slide open the fuse access cover on top of the attachment plug towards the blades.
- Remove fuses carefully.
- Replace the fuse only with a 3 Amp, 125 Volt fuse provided with the product.
- Close the fuse cover and slide closed the fuse access cover on top of the current tap. Make sure the door is fully closed and fuses are completely covered.
- Do not replace the current tap. If it is damaged, discard the product.
- Bulb Replacement:
- Before changing bulbs, make sure the product is unplugged.
- Grasp the plug and remove it from the receptacle or outlet device. Do not unplug by pulling on the cord.
- Step 1: Grasp the bulb by the plastic base and pull it straight out of the socket. Do not twist the bulb when inserting into the socket.
- Step 2: Hold the new bulb by the plastic base and push the spare bulb/base assembly into the socket.
- Step 3: Replace the bulb with only a 2.5 Volt, 0.425 Watt super brightness midget push-in type lamp provided with the product.
- If the bulbs are twisted, part of the set may not light up.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

- Do not place lighting string on carpeting, drapes, furniture, or allow it to contact vinyl siding while the power is on.
- Do not perform any maintenance or troubleshoot for bad or broken lamps while the power is on.
- Do not close doors or windows on the product or extension cords as this may damage the wire insulation.
- Do not cover the product with cloth, paper or any material not part of the product when in use.
- This product is equipped with push-in type lamps. Do not twist lamps.
- This product employs overload protection (fuse). A blown fuse indicates an overload or short-circuit situation. If the fuse blows, unplug the product from the outlet. Also unplug any additional strings or products that may be attached to the product. Replace the fuse as per the user servicing instructions (follow product marking for proper fuse rating) and check the product. If the replacement fuse blows, a short-circuit may be present and the product should be discarded.

Use and Care Instructions

When the product is placed on a live tree, the tree should be well maintained and fresh. Do not place on live trees in which the needles are brown or break off easily. Keep the tree holder filled with water.

If the product is placed on a tree, the tree should be well secured and stable.

Before using or reusing, inspect product carefully. Discard any products that have cut, damaged, or frayed wire insulation or cords, cracks in the lamp holders or enclosures, loose connections, or exposed copper wire.

When storing the product, carefully remove the product from wherever
it is placed, including tree branches, or bushes, to avoid any undue strain or stress on the product conductors, connections, and wires. -
When not in use, store neatly in a cool, dry location protected from sunlight.
User Servicing Instructions
Fuse replacement:
Most often, fuses blow because too many sets have been strung end-to-end.

Before changing fuses, make sure the set is unplugged.

Grasp plug and remove from the receptacle or other. outlet device. Do not unplug by pulling on cord.

Using a flathead screwdriver, open fuse cover. Slide open the fuse access cover on top of attachment plug towards blades.

Close fuse cover. Slide closed the fuse access cover on top of current tap. Make sure door is fully closed and fuses are completely covered.

that should not be removed. Discard product if the current tap is damaged. Bulb replacement: Before changing bulbs, make sure set is unplugged. -
Step 1: Grasp plug and remove from the 0.425 Watt super brightness midget push- in type lamp provided with product.

Step 2: Hold bulb by the plastic base and pull bulb/base straight out of socket. Push spare bulb/base assembly into socket Do not twist bulb when inserting into socket.

Step 3: Replace lamp with only 2.5 Volt, receptacle or other outlet device. Do not unplug by pulling on cord.
If the spare bulbs provided with the product have no plastic base or the plastic base does not fit , first follow steps 1 – 2 above. Then
- Remove the old bulb by straightening the bulb wires and pulling bulb straight from the base.
- Replace the new bulb by straightening the bulb leads and aiming each wire into a separate hole in the plastic base.
- Make sure each bulb lead comes out an exit opening at the bottom of the plastic base. Now bend each lead up such that each bulb lead fits closely againts the narrow side of the plastic base.
- This lighting string is rated 61.2 Watts (0.51 Amps), do not overload. Connect other lighting strings or decorative outfits end-to- end up to a maximum of 216 Watts (1.8 Amps) total. If connecting to a lighting string that does not have a Wattage (W) rating {found on the tag within 6 inches of the plug} calculate the wattage as follows: Multiply the current (0.51A) which is on the flag-type tag by 120.For example: Lighting string is rated 120 V, 60 Hz, 0.51 Amps. 0.51 X 120 = 61.2 Watts Add the wattage of each light string together for a total of 216 Watts or less. (Do not exceed 216 Watts.)
- To reduce the risk of over heating, replace burned-out lamps promptly. Use 2.5 Volt, 0.425 Watt lamps only.
- To reduce the risk of fire and electric shock: a) Do not install on trees having needles, leaves or branch coverings of metal or materials which look like metal, and b) Do not mount or support strings in a manner that can cut or damage wire insulation.

the National Electrical Code, this product is intended for residential
seasonal installation and use (90 days max. per year). Nicolas Holiday Ltd.’s
1-year Limited Guarantee covers repair or replacement (same or equivalent) of
this product within one (1) year from the date of purchase. Troubleshooting

This product is guaranteed only if it is used as intended. All accessories
that may be packed with this product, such as clips and stakes, are guaranteed
for the first season only. This Limited Guarantee does not cover: 1)
commercial applications, 2) burned out bulbs/LEDs, 3) misuse or tampering, 4)
batteries , 5) damage caused by improper consumer handling, or 6) components
that may weather, age or discolor due to a chemical reaction when exposed to
UV, oils, heat, acid rain, atmospheric oxygen and some salts.
ANY IMPLIED GUARANTEES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITA TION THE IMPLIED GUARANTEES
OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SHALL BE LI MITED TO
THE DURATION OF THIS LIMITED GUARANTEE. OTHERWISE THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT,
