Important Safety Instructions

  1. Read and follow all safety instructions.
  2. Do not use seasonal products outdoors unless marked suitable for indoor and outdoor use. When using outdoors, connect the product to a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupting (GFCI) outlet.
  3. This seasonal use product is not intended for permanent installation or use.
  4. Do not mount or place near gas or electric heaters, fireplaces, candles, or other similar sources of heat.
  5. Do not secure the wiring of the product with staples or nails, or place on sharp hooks or nails.
  6. Do not let lamps rest on the supply cord or on any wire.
  7. Unplug the product when leaving the house, when retiring for the night, or if left unattended.
  8. This is an electric product – not a toy! Keep it away from small children.
  9. Do not use this product for other than its intended use.
  10. Do not hang ornaments or other objects from cord, wire, or light string.
  11. Do not close doors or windows on the product or extension cords as this may damage the wire insulation.
  12. Do not cover the product with cloth, paper, or any material not part of the product when in use.
  13. This product is equipped with push-in type lamps. Do not twist lamps.
  14. Read and follow all instructions provided with the product.
  15. Save these instructions.

Use and Care Instructions

  1. When placing the product on a live tree, ensure that the tree is well maintained and fresh. Do not place on trees with brown or easily breakable needles. Keep the tree holder filled with water.
  2. If placing the product on a tree, make sure the tree is well secured and stable.
  3. Before using or reusing, carefully inspect the product. Discard any products with damaged wire insulation or cords, cracks in lampholders or enclosures, loose connections, or exposed copper wire.
  4. When storing the product, remove it carefully from wherever it is placed to avoid strain or stress on the conductors, connections, and wires.
  5. When not in use, store the product in a cool, dry location protected from sunlight.

User Servicing Instructions

  1. To replace the lamp, grasp the plug and remove it from the receptacle or outlet device. Do not unplug by pulling the cord.
  2. Pull the lamp and plastic base straight out of the lampholder.
  3. Replace the lamp with a 3.3 Volt, 0.066 Watt, LED type lamp (provided with the product). If the new lamp base does not fit in the lampholder, follow these steps:
  4. Remove the base of the burned-out lamp by straightening the lamp leads and gently pulling it out.
  5. Thread the leads of the new lamp through the holes in the old base, with one lead in each hole.
  6. After fully inserting the lamp into the base, bend each lead up, like other lamps in the product.

USE AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS

  • When the product is placed on a live tree, the tree should be well maintained and fresh. Do not place on live trees in which the needles are brown or break off easily. Keep the tree holder filled with water.
  • If the product is placed on a tree, the tree should be well secured and stable.
  • Before using or reusing, inspect product carefully. Discard any products that have cut, damaged, or frayed wire insulation or cords, cracks in the lampholders or enclosures, loose connections, or exposed copper wire.
  • When storing the product, carefully remove the product from wherever it is placed, including tree, branches, or bushes, to avoid any undue strain or stress on the product conductors, connections, and wires.
  • When not in use, store neatly in a cool, dry location protected from sunlight.

USER SERVICING INSTRUCTIONS

Replace the lamp.

  1. Grasp plug and remove from the receptacle or other outlet device. Do not unplug by pulling cord.

  2. Pull lamp and plastic base straight out of lampholder.

  3. Replace lamp with only 3.3 Volt, 0.066 Watt, LED type lamp (provided with product).
    If the new lamp base does not fit in lampholder, follow the steps below step

    • Remove the base of burned out lamp by straightening lamp leads and gently pull lamp out.
    • Thread leads of new lamp through holes in old base with one lead in each hole.
    • After lamp is fully inserted into base, bend each lead up, like other lamps in the light set so that the leads will touch the contacts inside the lampholder.

However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation.   • Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
  • Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.

CAUTION:

  1. Replace lamps only with 3.3 volt, 0.066 watt spare lamps provided with this product.
  2. Risk of fire. This product does not contain lamp shunts, which allow the product to operate if one lamp burns out. Do not replace lamps with other than the spare lamps provided with this product.

Operate the Remote

  1. Pull out the plastic film from the battery cover to energize the remote. { Fig.1 }
  2. The remote has twelve buttons { Fig. 2 }
    • ON/OFF : Turn set ON/OFF
    • Function: Press to change the light pattern.

BATTERY CAUTION:

  • Always purchase the correct size and grade of battery most suitable for the intended use.
  • Replace only with lithium, type CR2025 battery.
  • Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation.
  • Ensure the battery is installed correctly with regard to polarity (+ and -).
  • Remove battery from equipment which is not to be used for an extended period of time.
  • Remove used battery promptly.
  • Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
  • Do not ingest batteries.

TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE CORRECTIVE ACTION
If the product does not light One or more of the based LEDs may have loosened

from the socket during transporting. There is a break in the circuit between the LED leads and the socket terminals. Male/female connectors not fully inserted together. Non working control box. Foot pedal in off position.| Unplug the set at the outlet. Starting with the first unlit LED, gently push (don’t twist) each LED base firmly into the socket. If still does not light, then remove each based LED and check for out of place lead wires. Make certain connectors fully inserted and securing cap fully tightened. Step on foot pedal to turn LEDs on.
If a based LED is missing| One or more of the based bulbs may have come out of the socket when transporting.| Mark socket(s) with a piece of tape and unplug the set. Replace the based LED or use one of the spare based LEDs included with product.
If an LED fails to light (shorts or opens)| Incorrect LED, premature LED failure or voltage is too high.| The LED may be out or dimly lit. Replace bad LEDs as soon as you find them.
LEDs fail to switch from white to multi| If applicable, then a defective control box or color change foot pedal.| Contact Customer Support.
