Unpacking

Do not open the ink cartridge package until you are ready to install it in the printer. The cartridge is vacuum packed to maintain its reliability.

Remove all protective materials.

Attaching Panel Supplement Sticker

Depending on the location, the supplementary stickers may not be B available.

1. Peel off.
   

2. Stick.
   

Turning On

1. Connect and plug in.
   

2. Raise and turn on.
   

3. Select a language
   

To lower, unlock by pushing button at the rear and then lower.

Installing the Ink Cartridges

1. Open.

2. Unpack.

3. Remove yellow tape.

4. Install Press (click).
   

5. Close.

6. Press.

7. Wait about 3.5 min.
   

The initial ink cartridges will be partly used to charge the print head. These cartridges print fewer pages compared to subsequent ink cartridges.

Installing the Software

1. Open.

2. Connect a USB cable.

3. Close

4. Insert.
   
   Windows: No installation screen?

5. Click.

6. Follow the instructions.

7. Connect to your PC.
   

8. Installation complete.
   

Do not connect the USB cable until you are instructed to do so.

If the Firewall alert appears, confirm the publisher is Epson, then allow access for Epson applications.
