Simply Retrofits PIR 3CCT 5 Inch Adjustable Flush Mount Fixture
Product Information
The product is a PIR (Passive Infrared) sensor used for motion detection. It is manufactured by Simply Retrofits and can be found at www.simplyretrofits.com. The package includes the following parts:
- AA – Part Description: Mounting bracket
- BB – Part Description: 4 in. mounting clip spring
- CC – Part Description: 4 in. mounting clip spring screws

Product Usage Instructions
Turning Off the Power
- Before starting the installation process, ensure that the power is turned OFF at the switch, fuse box, or circuit breaker.
Choosing a Color Temperature Before Installing
Use the slide switch provided to choose a color temperature before installing the PIR sensor. The available color temperature options are:
- 3000K (3K)
- 4000K (4K)
- 5000K (5K)
Refer to Fig.1 for the location of the slide switch.
Installing the Mounting Bracket to the Junction Box
Follow these steps to install the mounting bracket:

1. Insert the two mounting screws (EE) through the slots in the mounting bracket (BB). - Make sure the mounting bracket (BB) is installed with the label facing downwards. Refer to Fig. 3 for visual guidance.
Connecting the Wires
Identify the wiring as follows: Black-line voltage, white-neutral.
Connect the stripped wires to the corresponding wires coming from the J-Box:
- Connect Black – line voltage to Black.
- Connect White – neutral to White.
Use the wire connectors provided (FF) to make the connections. Refer to Fig.2 for visual guidance.
Mounting the Bracket
Securely mount the bracket (BB) to the desired location using suitable screws. Refer to Fig. 4 for visual guidance.

- Turning Off the Power
- Turn the power OFF at the switch and fuse box or the circuit breaker.
- Choosing a color temperature before installing
- Use the slide switch to choose a color temperature before installing.
- Connecting the wires
- Identify the wiring: (Blackline voltage, white-neutral)
- Connect the stripped wires to the two wires coming from the J-box: black-line voltage to Black, White – neutral to White, using wire connectors provided (FF).
- Installing the mounting bracket to the junction box
- Install the mounting bracket (BB) to the J-box by inserting the two mounting screws (EE) through the slots in the mounting bracket (BB).
- Make sure the mounting bracket (BB) is installed with the label facing downwards. (Fig. 3)
- Installing the fixture to the mounting bracket
- Secure the fixture (AA) to the mounting bracket (BB) by pressing the fixture into the mounting bracket until the clips on the fixture engage together. Make sure the fixture is firmly locked into place. (Fig. 4)
