Product Usage Instructions

Mounting Your Charging Stand

1.  Find a good spot on your car’s instrument panel and clean the area.
2. Before mounting your wireless charging stand, remove the protective film on the surface of the nano-adhesive under the base.
3. Place the stand on the surface of your car’s instrument panel, ensuring it is mounted at the most comfortable angle and position. Note: Ensure that the CAD-WM100 is mounted in a place that does not block your view of the road.

Power on Your Charging Stand

To power on your charging stand:

1. Plug one end of the provided charging cable (Type-C) into the charging port of the stand.
2. Plug the other end of the charging cable into a power source, such as your car’s USB charging port.
3. After connecting the charging cable, the front indicator light will turn red, indicating that the device is powered on and ready for use.

Charging Your Phone

To charge your phone:

1. Place your phone on the charging pad, ensuring it is aligned with the infrared ray sensing area.
2. The blue indicator light will turn on, indicating that charging has started.

Remove Your Phone

To remove your phone:

1. When you no longer need to charge your phone or it is fully charged, slightly touch the front sensing switch with your finger.
2.  The cover will automatically open, waiting for the phone to be removed.
3. The stand will retract its charging board, close its cover, and return to the initial standby status after your phone is removed.

Note: The product has a built-in super capacitor power storage function, so there will still be a little power available for taking out the mobile phone after the car is turned off.

Indicator Status Description

• Red light on: Standby
• Blue light on: Charging
• Red light flashing: Alarm of non-wireless charging equipment
• Red/blue lights on at the same time: High temperature alarm
• Light off: Overcurrent/Overvoltage/Short-Circuit Alarm
• Notes: It’s normal when the indicator flashes red if charging the cell phone not supporting non-wireless charging function.

Troubleshooting

• Problem: The phone is not charging.
• Suggestion:
  • Car charger power is insufficient, please use QC2.0 or QC 3.0 adapter.
  • Cell phone must support wireless charging function, or a wireless charging receiver must be attached to the cell phone.
  • The phone case is thicker than 4mm, please remove the phone case to charge.
• Problem: Infrared sensing does not respond.
• Suggestion: The infrared sensor head is blocked by dirt, clean to remove the stains, and restart the power supply.
• Problem: Unable to detect device.
• Suggestion: Please make sure the phone case thickness is less than 4mm.
• Problem: Blue light flashes.
• Suggestion: Insufficient car charging power,please use QC2.0 or QC3.0 adapter.

• Improper use of this product may result in damage to this or attached products. To ensure the product works well, please never use it in the following conditions:
  1. While wet or submerged in water.
  2. Near a heater or in high-temperature scenarios.
  3. In direct/intense sunlight.
• Never dismantle the product, otherwise, it may nullify the warranty clause.
• Do not expose the product to pressure or impact.
• Do not place any cards with a magnetic stripe or chip (such as an ID or bank card) near or on the charging stand to avoid corrupting the card.
• This product is not a toy. Keep it away from children.

Overview

Instructions for Use

Mounting Your Charging Stand
Find a good spot on your car’s instrument panel and clean the area. Before mounting your wireless charging stand, remove the protective film on the surface of the nano-adhesive under the base. Then place the stand on the surface of your car’s instrument panel. Ensure that it is mounted at the most comfortable angle and position.

Note: Ensure that the CAD-WM100 is mounted in a place that does not block your view of the road.

Power on Your Charging Stand
To power on your charging stand, plug one end of the provided charging cable into the charging port of the stand, and the other end into a power source such as your car’s USB charging port (see the picture below). After connected, the front indicator light will stay red to indicate this device is powered on and ready for use.

Charging Your Phone
When an object approaches the front sensing area (or when the front touch switch is touched), the top cover of the charging stand will automatically open, and the charging board will be raised automatically to enter standby charging status.
Place your phone horizontally and smoothly in the fixed area (phone screen facing yourself) and remove your hands. The charging stand will detect that the phone is placed, and then the cover will automatically press down until it locks the phone. Once done, your phone will begin charging wirelessly.

Notes:

• If the charging stand does not detect the phone in the device fixation area within 5 seconds, it will automatically retract its charging board, close its cover, and get back to the initial standby status.
• When the phone is fully charged, the charging stand will stop charging while the indicator will still remain red and the cooling fan will keep working.

Remove Your Phone

When you do not need to charge your phone, or your phone is fully charged, slightly touch the front sensing switch with you finger. The cover will automatically open, waiting for the phone to be removed. The stand will automatically retract its charging board, close its cover, and get back to the initial standby status after your phone is removed.

Over-temperature protection

| When the temperature around the mobile phone exceeds 60°, the wireless charging will automatically stop charging (the cooling fan continues to dissipate heat. When the temperature lowers to a safety range the wireless charging restarts) to better protect your phone.

SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC LIMITED WARRANTY (“Warranty”) – For Product Categories Listed in Chart Below (as applicable, “Product”) Before returning your Product for service under this Warranty, please (i) read the instruction manual carefully. If you are still having trouble with your Product, please contact Technical Support at support@caranddrivertech.com

Warning: Some Products may contain components that are small enough to be swallowed. Please keep out of reach of children.
Subject to the terms and conditions herein, SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC warrants to the original purchaser of the Product (“Customer”) that for the applicable Warranty Period listed below, the Product will be free from defects in material or workmanship under normal, non-commercial use (“Defects”). Warranty Period encompasses, as listed below, separate “Coverage Periods” for Parts and Labor, each Coverage Period for one year, to begin from the original date of Customer purchase. If Customer returns a defective Product (or any component thereof) during the applicable Warranty Period, SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC will, as its option, during the specified Coverage Periods for Parts and Labor (as applicable) either: (i) repair the Product (or, as applicable, any component thereof) or (ii) replace the Product (or, as applicable, any component thereof) with a new or refurbished Product (or, as applicable, any component thereof), in either case free of charge to Customer for Parts and/or Labor (as applicable) during the specified Coverage Period only, and excluding applicable shipping charges (noted below), for which the Customer is responsible. The foregoing states the Customer’s exclusive remedy and SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC’s sole liability for breach of the limited warranty contained herein.

This Warranty specifically excludes any Product (or, as applicable, any component thereof) that has been subject to or Defects resulting from: (a) any neglect or misuse by a Customer, an accident, improper application, violation of operating instructions for the Product, any other Customer-induced damage, or the alteration or removal of any Product serial number; (b) any modification or repair to Product (or, as applicable, any component thereof) by any party other than SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC or a party authorized in writing by SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC; (c) any damage to Product (or, as applicable, any component thereof) due to power surges, incorrect electrical voltage, misconnection to any device, or malfunction of any device used with the Product (or, as applicable, any component thereof); (d) cosmetic damage to the Product (or, as applicable, any component thereof) caused by normal wear and tear; (e) shipping damage that occurs while the Product is in transit; (f) damage caused by heat sources, sunlight, electromagnetic conditions, or other climatic conditions; or (g) any acts of God. Product is sold to Customer for personal, non-commercial use only. Product is not warranted for Customer’s commercial or rental use. In addition, Product is not warranted against failure, and should not be used by Customer for any application where (i) there is a risk that any data stored on Product will be breached or otherwise compromised, or (ii) the data stored on Product is relied upon for medical or lifesaving applications.

SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC disclaims any Warranty for any of the foregoing uses to the fullest extent permitted by law. Customer assumes any and all risks associated with such uses of Product, and agrees to indemnify SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC for any damages claimed against SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC for such uses. EXCEPT FOR EXPRESS WARRANTIES STATED ABOVE AND TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS”, AND SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, LIMITATION ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY (I) OF MERCHANTABILITY, (II) OF OR (III) OF NON-INFRINGEMENT OF THIRD PARTY RIGHTS. This Warranty gives Customer specific rights, and Customer may also have other rights that vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. To obtain Warranty service, Customer must email SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC Technical Support prior to making a Product return. Customer must include with Product return the following items (failure to enclose any of these items may result in a delay in the processing of your Warranty claim): (i) a dated sales receipt that indicates the place of purchase, model number of Product, and amount paid; (ii) a detailed description of Customer’s problem with Product; (iii) Customer’s full name, phone number, and return address, and; (iv) a money order made out to SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC Electronics Corporation to cover return shipping charges to US destinations only, for the applicable dollar amount shown for the Product in the table above. SUMMIT ELECTRONICS LLC will not make return shipments to a P.O. Box. For shipping to international addresses, actual freight will be charged to Customer. Return your Product freight-prepaid in its original packaging, or packaging that affords an equal measure of protection. Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for the processing of your claim (6 to 8 weeks from November to February).
