Product Usage Instructions

Disconnect power at the main fuse box before installation.

This fixture is intended for installation in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and all local code specifications. If you are not familiar with code requirements, it is recommended to have the installation done by a certified electrician.

Before assembly, remove all parts and part packages from the box. If anything is missing, please contact the retailer from which the product was purchased.

Carefully pull house wires out of the junction box so they are easily accessible during installation.

Position the mounting bracket (A) so that the threaded ends of the attached fixture mounting screws (E) are facing down towards the floor.

Carefully pull house wires through the center hole in the mounting bracket (A).

Align the small holes in the mounting bracket (A) with the holes in the junction box. Thread each junction box screw (B) into the holes in the mounting bracket (A) and into the holes in the junction box. Tighten the junction box screws (B) to secure the mounting bracket (A) to the junction box.
- Note: Make sure the house wires are pulled completely through the hole in the mounting bracket and do not pinch them between the mounting bracket and ceiling.

At least one 6 inch stem must be used. Carefully push the fixture wires up through the bottom.

Strip 3/4 of insulation from the ends of the fixture wires.

Slightly loosen the ground screw on the mounting bracket (A), but do not completely remove it. Wrap the house ground wire (copper) around the ground screw, leaving enough ground wire to attach to the fixture ground wire. Twist the end of the fixtureground wire and the end of the house ground wire (copper) together.
Twist the wire nut (C) onto the ends of the wires and completely tighten it. Refer to the chart for correct wire connections. -
Twist the end of the house lead wire (black) and the end of the fixture lead wire together. Twist the wire nut (C) onto the ends of the wires and completely tighten it. Twist the end of the house neutral wire (white) and the end of the fixture neutral wire together. Twist the wire nut (C) onto the ends of the wires and completely tighten it. Refer to the chart for correct wire connections.

Wrap electrical tape (not included) around the wire nuts (C) and wires to ensure they are securely fastened.

Carefully push all wires and wire nuts into the junction box.

Connect the black lead supply (house) wire to the black wire or parallel cord (round and smooth).

Connect the white neutral supply (house) wire to the white wire or parallel cord (square and ridged). If there are no printed words on wire insulation or if it is an insulated wire (other than green)with a copper conductor, connect it as well. If there are printed words on wire insulation or if it is an insulated wire (other than green) with a silver conductor, connect it as well.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION
- WARNING: DISCONNECT POWER AT THE MAIN FUSE BOX BEFORE INSTALLATION.
- This fixture is intended for installation in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and all local code specifications. If you are not familiar with code requirements, installation by a certified electrician is recommended.
- Before assembly, remove all parts and part packages from box. If anything is missing, please contact the retailer from which the product was purchased.
- Carefully pull house wires out of junction box so they are easily accessible during installation.
- Position mounting bracket (A) so threaded ends of attached fixture mounting screws (E) are facing down towards floor.
- Carefully pull house wires through center hole in mounting bracket (A).
- Align small holes in mounting bracket (A) with holes in junction box. Thread each junction box screw (B) into holes in mounting bracket (A) and into holes in junction box. Tighten junction box screws (B) to secure mounting bracket (A) to junction box. CAUTION: Make sure house wires are pulled completely through hole in mounting bracket. DO NOT pinch wires between mounting bracket and ceiling.
- CAUTION: At least one 6 inch stem must be used.
- Carefully push fixture wires up through bottom of 6 inch stem (N). Pull fixture wires out of top of stem. Pull fixture wires taut. Screw bottom of Inch stem (N) onto top of fixture body.
- Determine desired hanging height of fixture.
- Select the quantity of stems (M/P) to achieve that height.
- Carefully push fixture wires through remaining stems (M/P). Screw stems (M/P) together keeping fixture wires taut. DO NOT pinch fixturewires between stems.
- Push fixture wires up through bottom of loop (S).
- Thread loop onto top of last stem.
- Push fixture wires up through hole center of canopy (D).
- Strip 3/4” of insulation from ends of fixture wires.
- Slightly loosen ground screw on mounting bracket (A). Do not completely remove groundscrew. Wrap house ground wire (copper) aroundground screw, leaving enough ground wireto attach to fixture ground wire. Twist end offixture ground wire and end of house groundwire (copper) together. Twist wire nut (C) ontoends of wires. Completely tighten wire nut (C). Reference chart below for correct wire connections.
Connect Supply (House) Ground Copper Wire to:
Bare Copper Wire or,
Bare Silver Wire or,
Green Insulated Wire.
- Twist end of house lead wire (black) and end of fixture lead wire together. Twist wire nut (C) onto ends of wires. Completely tighten wire nut (C). Twist end of house neutral wire (white) and end of fixture neutral wire together. Twist wire nut (C) onto ends of wires. Completely tightenwire nut (C). Reference chart to the right for correct wire connections.
- Wrap electrical tape (not included) around wire nuts (C) and wires. Ensure wires are securely fastened into wire nuts.
- Carefully push all wires and wire nuts into junction box.

*When parallel wire (SPT 1 & SPT 2) is used: The lead wire is round in shape or smooth.
The neutral wire is square in shape or ridged.
- Carefully raise fixture up to ceiling. Place canopy (D) over mounting bracket (A). Pass holes in canopy (D) over ends of fixture mounting screws (E).
- Screw one threaded cap (F) onto end of each fixture mounting screw (E). Tighten threaded caps (F) to secure fixture to ceiling. DO NOT over tighten.
- Screw recommended bulbs (E12 candelabra bulb type, not included) into sockets. Verify correct bulb wattage marked on socket of fixture.
- WARNING: DO NOT exceed maximum bulb wattage.
- Pass hole in shade (K) over bulb. Fit bottom ofshade (K) inside socket cup.
- Holding shade (K) in place, thread one thumbscrew (L) into each hole in edge of socket cup. Do not completely tighten thumbscrews (L)until each thumbscrew (L) is installed. After allthumbscrews (L) are installed, equally tightenthumbscrews (L) to secure shade (K) in place.
- DO NOT over tighten thumbscrews (L).
- Repeat steps 18 and 19 for remaining shades (K).
