Bare Silver Wire or,
Green Insulated Wire. - Align small holes in the mounting bracket (A) with holes in the junction box. Thread each junction box screw (B) into holes in the mounting bracket (A) and into holes in the junction box.
- Tighten junction box screws (B) to secure mounting bracket (A) to the junction box.
CAUTION: Make sure house wires are pulled completely through the hole in the mounting bracket. DO NOT pinch wires between the mounting bracket and ceiling.

The neutral wire is square in shape or ridged.
-
Carefully push fixture wires up through the bottom of the 6-inch stem (N). Pull fixture wires out of the top of the stem. Pull fixture wires taut.
-
Screw the bottom of the 6-inch stem (N) onto the top of the fixture body (O). Determine the desired hanging height of the fixture. Select the quantity of stems (M/P) to achieve that height.
-
Carefully push fixture wires through the remaining stems (M/P). Screw stems (M/P) together keeping fixture wires taut. DO NOT pinch fixture wires between stems.
-
Push fixture wires up through the bottom of the loop (S). Thread loop onto the top of the last stem.
-
Push fixture wires up through the hole center of the canopy (D).
-
Strip 3/4” of insulation from the ends of fixture wires.
Slightly loosen the ground screw on the mounting bracket (A). Do not completely remove the ground screw. Wrap house ground wire (copper) around the ground screw, leaving enough ground wire to attach to fixture ground wire. Twist the end of the fixture ground wire and the end of the house ground wire (copper) together. -
Twist wire nut (C) onto the ends of the wires. Completely tighten the wire nut
(C). Reference chart below for correct wire connections. -
Twist the end of the house lead wire (black) and the end of the fixture lead wire together. Twist wire nut (C) onto the ends of the wires. Completely tighten wire nut (C). Twist the end of the house neutral wire (white) and the end of the fixture neutral wire together. Twist wire nut (C) onto the ends of the wires. Completely tighten wire nut (C). Reference chart to the right for correct wire connections.
Wrap electrical tape (not included) around wire nuts (C) and wires. Ensure wires are securely fastened into wire nuts. -
Carefully push all wires and wire nuts into the junction box.
-
Carefully raise the fixture up to the ceiling. Place canopy (D) over mounting bracket (A). Pass holes in canopy (D) over ends of fixture mounting screws (E). Screw one threaded cap (F) onto the end of each fixture mounting screw (E). Tighten threaded caps (F) to secure the fixture to the ceiling.
-
DO NOT over-tighten. Screw recommended bulbs (E12 candelabra bulb type, not included) into sockets. Verify the correct bulb wattage marked on the socket of the fixture.
-
WARNING: DO NOT exceed maximum bulb wattage.
-
Pass a hole in the shade (K) over the bulb. Fit the bottom of shade (K) inside the socket cup. Holding shade (K) in place, thread one thumbscrew (L) into each hole in the edge of the socket cup. Do not completely tighten thumbscrews (L) until each thumbscrew (L) is installed. After all thumbscrews (L) are installed, equally tighten thumbscrews (L) to secure shade (K) in place.
-
DO NOT over-tighten thumbscrews (L).
-
Repeat steps 19 and 20 for the remaining shades (K).
