Product Information
- This product is a fixture intended for installation in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and all local code specifications.
- It is recommended to have the installation done by a certified electrician if you are not familiar with code requirements.
- The product comes with a mounting bracket (A), junction box screws (B), fixture mounting screws (E), ground screw, wire nut (C), and canopy (D).
- The fixture has lead wires (black and white) and a ground wire.
Product Usage Instructions
- Before installation, disconnect the power at the main fuse box.
- Remove all parts and part packages from the box.
- If any parts are missing, contact the retailer from which the product was purchased.
- Carefully pull house wires out of the junction box for easy accessibility during installation.
- Position the mounting bracket (A) so that the threaded ends of the fixture mounting screws (E) are facing down towards the floor.
- Align the holes in the mounting bracket (A) with the holes in the junction box. Thread each junction box screw (B) into the holes in the mounting bracket (A) and into the holes in the junction box. Tighten the junction box screws (B) to secure the mounting bracket (A) to the junction box. Ensure that the house wires are pulled completely through the hole in the mounting bracket, avoiding pinching them between the bracket and ceiling.
- Strip 3/4 of insulation from the ends of fixture wires.
- Slightly loosen the ground screw on the mounting bracket (A) without completely removing it. Wrap the house ground wire (copper) around the ground screw, leaving enough ground wire to attach to the fixture ground wire. Twist the end of the fixture ground wire and the end of the house ground wire together. Twist the wire nut (C) onto the ends of the wires and completely tighten it. Refer to the chart for correct wire connections.
- Twist the end of the house lead wire (black) and the end of the fixture lead wire together. Twist the wire nut (C) onto the ends of the wires and completely tighten it. Similarly, twist the end of the house neutral wire (white) and the end of the fixture neutral wire together. Twist the wire nut (C) onto the ends of the wires and completely tighten it. Refer to the chart for correct wire connections.
- Wrap electrical tape (not included) around the wire nuts (C) and wires to ensure they are securely fastened.
- Carefully push all wires and wire nuts into the junction box.
- Raise the fixture up to the ceiling and place the canopy (D) over the mounting bracket (A). Pass the holes in the canopy (D) over the ends of the fixture mounting screws (E).
WARNING: DISCONNECT POWER AT THE MAIN FUSE BOX BEFORE INSTALLATION.
WARNING:

INSTALLATION

Carefully pull house wires out of junction box so they are easily accessible during installation.

Position mounting bracket (A) so threaded ends of attached fixture mounting screws (E) are facing down towards floor.

Align holes in mounting bracket (A) with holes in junction box. Thread each junction box screw
(B) into holes in mounting bracket (A) and into holes in junction box. Tighten junction box screws (B) to secure mounting bracket (A) to junction box.
CAUTION: Make sure house wires are pulled completely through hole in mounting bracket. DO NOT pinch wires between mounting bracket and ceiling. -
Strip 3/4” of insulation from ends of fixture wires.

Slightly loosen ground screw on mounting bracket (A). Do not completely remove ground screw. Wrap house ground wire (copper) around ground screw, leaving enough ground wire
to attach to fixture ground wire. Twist end of fixture ground wire and end of house ground wire together. Twist wire nut (C) onto ends of wires. Completely tighten wire nut (C). Reference chart below for correct wire connections.
Connect Supply (House) Ground Copper Wire to:- Bare Copper Wire or,
- Bare Silver Wire or,
- Green Insulated Wire.

Twist end of house lead wire (black) and end of fixture lead wire together. Twist wire nut (C) onto ends of wires. Completely tighten wire nut (C). Twist end of house neutral wire (white) and end of fixture neutral wire together. Twist wire nut (C) onto ends of wires. Completely tighten wire nut (C). Reference chart to the right for correct wire connections.

Wrap electrical tape (not included) around wire nuts (C) and wires. Ensure wires are securely fastened into wire nuts.

Carefully push all wires and wire nuts into junction box.

Carefully raise the fixture up to the ceiling. Place canopy (D) over mounting bracket (A). Pass holes in canopy (D) over ends of fixture mounting screws (E).

Screw one threaded cap (F) onto the end of each fixture mounting screw (E). Tighten threaded caps (F) to secure the fixture to the ceiling. DO NOT over-tighten.

Screw recommended bulbs (E26 Edison bulb type, not included) into sockets. Verify the correct bulb wattage marked on the socket of the fixture.
WARNING: DO NOT exceed the maximum bulb wattage. -
Hold the center stem (M) so the cupped washer is at the bottom. Thread the top of the center stem (M) into the hole in the center of the socket cluster.

Carefully raise shade (K) up to the fixture. Pass hole in the bottom of shade (K) over the end of threaded pipe on the bottom of the center stem (M).

Slip the hole in the bottom trim (N) over the end of threaded pipe protruding from the bottom of shade (K).

Thread hex nut (G) onto threaded pipe protruding from the bottom of shade (K). Tighten hex nut (G) to secure shade (K) in place. DO NOT over-tighten.

Thread the finial (H) onto the end of the threaded pipe. DO NOT over-tighten.
