  • Please read this manual carefully and use the unit only according to this manual.
  • Dispose of used packaging material carefully or store it out of the reach of children. There is a danger of suffocation!
  • Make sure the voltage corresponds to the type label on the appliance.
  • The unit is designed for operation in altitudes of up to 2000 m above sea level.
  • Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed to use the appliance, unless they are supervised and briefed for their safety by a qualified person.
  • The unit is not a toy and does not belong in the hands of children. Never leave the unit unsupervised when in use. Keep it out of reach of children or persons in need of supervision. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the unit. Never point the vacuum hose towards persons or animals.
  • Do not attempt to use the ash vacuum to suck water or other liquids or to pick up burning or glowing articles. The ash vacuum is designed for removing cold ashes from fireplaces. Only use the ash vacuum according to this manual.
  • Do not use for the separation of health-hazardous dusts (dust classes L, M, H).
  • Do not vacuum soot
  • Vacuum only ashes from admissible fuels
  • Do not vacuum any hot, burning or glowing objects
  • Do not vacuum any objects that are hotter than > 40 °C
  • Do not vacuum any flammable substances
  • Do not use the appliance unless the filter is inserted correctly.
  • Unplug the appliance while it is not in use. Do not use the ash vacuum on wet surfaces or outdoors. Do not the handle appliance or plug with wet hands.
  • Do not use the ash vacuum, if the power cord has been damaged. Do not use the appliance, if it has been dropped, damaged or gotten wet.
  • Do not pull the power cord to unplug, but grasp the plug to remove from the wall outlet. Do not close cord in doors or pull cord around sharp edges or corners. Do not pinch or crimp the power cord in any way. Keep the power cord away from hot surfaces. Make sure that the cord does not become a tripping hazard.
  • Do not block the suction tube with large particles. Keep the suction hose free from objects that might block airflow. Do not suck if the suction opening is blocked, in order not to overheat the motor.
  • This appliance is not designed for professional continuous operation.
  • The appliance does not contain any parts serviceable by you. Do not disassemble it and do not try to repair it yourself. Contact our customer support service or a professional.
