SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Carefully read the entire instruction manual before first operating product.
It contains important information on handling the product. If you give the product to third parties, you must include this instruction manual. -
Keep children away from the product and the packaging. The product is not a toy. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the product.

This product complies with protection class IPSS (plugged in).

Never touch the product with wet or damp hands.

Safe operation cannot be guaranteed if the product shows any kind of damage. If the product is damaged, it must be disposed of or repaired.

Do not repair the product yourself! Have repairs carried out by a professional electrician.

Never immerse the product in water or other liquids. Never grasp a unit connected to a power supply if it has fallen into water.

Failure to observe the safety instructions may result in damage to the unit or dangerous injury to persons!

This product is not intended for use by persons (including children} with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge in handling the product. Such persons must first be instructed by a supervisor responsible for their safety or supervised during product operation!

Improper handling of the charging cable can cause explosions, electric shocks and short circuits. The generally applicable safety precautions and the instructions must be observed.

Before each use, check the charging cable and the contacts for damage and dirt.

Never charge with a damaged charging cable or damaged vehicle inlet. Never charge with contacts that have become dirty or damp.

Never pull off the plugs with force. Dangerous electric arcs can cause death or serious injury.

Only connect the charging cable to vehicle inlets and infrastructure charging sockets that are protected from water, direct sunlight, moisture and other liquids.

There are electric vehicles that allow the vehicle to be started with the charging cable plugged in. Always make sure to disconnect the charging cable before driving off.

Never use the charging cable with an extension cable or an adapter. Modifications or alterations are dangerous to life and lead to the immediate exclusion of the warranty.

**** OPERATION
Observe the operating instructions for the charging station and the electric vehicle.
- Switch off the vehicle. Go to parking mode.
- Remove the protective caps from the charging plugs and connect the infrastructure charging plug to the infrastructure charging socket and the vehicle charging plug to the vehicle inlet. Ensure the correct assignment and check that the plug connections are correctly and completely plugged in.
- Start the charging process at the charging station. The charging plugs are automatically locked.
- To end the charging process prematurely, follow the operating instructions of the charging station.
- After the charging process is finished, the charging plugs are automatically unlocked.
- Disconnect the charging plugs from the charging station and the electric vehicle (EV must be unlocked).
- Put the protective caps on the charging plugs and roll up the cable without kinks.
**** CHARGING TIME
The duration of the charging process depends on the capacity, the state of
charge of the high-voltage battery of your vehicle and the permissible
charging power of the charging cable.
The charging current (max. 32A) is regulated by the EV. At very low and very
high temperatures, the charging performance may be impaired.
**** CLEANING
Only clean the cable when it is not connected to the vehicle or the socket. Clean the charging cable and the dirty contacts only with a dry cloth. Never use harsh detergents, water or steam cleaners. Never immerse the item in liquids. Store the charging cable with the protective caps on in a dry and clean place.
DISPOSAL
At the end of its service life, dispose of the cable in keeping with all legal
requirements.
The dustbin symbol indicates that waste electrical and electronic equipment
may 3 not be disposed of with normal household waste within the EU. Please use
local ™= recycling and collection points or contact the retailer where you
purchased the product. You thus fulfill your statutory obligations and
contribute to protection of the environment.
