Product Usage Instructions
To install the GRS500PV range, follow these steps:
- Ensure that you have the necessary locally approved flexible service cord or conduit, as the terminals will not be accessible after range installation.
- Refer to the shaded area in the drawing to locate the electrical outlet box. The recommended outlet locations allow the range to be installed directly against the rear wall.
- Note that the appliance has been approved for 0 spacing to adjacent surfaces above the cooktop. However, it is recommended to maintain a 6 minimum spacing to surfaces less than 15 above thecooktop and adjacent cabinet to reduce exposure to steam, grease splatter, and heat.
- Consult the installation instructions for alternate installation configurations and any additional requirements.
- Ensure that the breaker size is appropriate for your local codes. The recommended breaker size is 240V – 40 Amps or 208V – 40 Amps.
Note: All GE ranges are equipped with anAnti-Tip device. The installation of this device is an important, required step in the installation of the range.

- Utilize the Crisp Mode feature for air-fry like results. This mode uses the bake and broil elements to deliver fantastic crispy results for your favorite air-fried foods. Preheat the oven to temperature before using Crisp Mode.

- The 5-burner radiant cooktop offers a flexible cooking solution that accommodates any pot or pan.
- Adjust the size of the burner to fit any pot or pan with the 9/6 Power Boil burner, which has a convertible 6 and 9 element for boiling water faster.
- Boil water in multiple pots simultaneously with the additional 9 Power Boil element.
- Utilize the Fifth Element Warming Zone for perfect temperature control of foods on the cooktop.
- Clean up messes easily with the ceramic glass cooktop’s smooth surface.
- Save time and effort with the self-clean and steam clean oven functions. Use the self-cleaning function for deep clean situationsor enjoy frequent cleanings without the need for kits or extra steps using the steam clean oven function.
- Take advantage of the oven storage drawer, which provides a convenient place to store cookware and other kitchen accessories.
- Produce great results with every bake using the dual element oven, which provides rapid, even heat with upper and lower elements.
- Cook an entire meal at once with room to spare in the large capacity oven, which has a 5.3 cubic foot capacity.
