  • Do not move or tilt the device when in operation.

WARNING! Electrical hazard!
The device can cause injuries due to improper installation! Before installation the local power grid specification should be compared with that of the device (see type label). Connect the device only in case of compliance! Take note of the security advice!

Installation and connection

  • Unpack the device and dispose of the packaging. Remove the protective film from the device.
  • Place the device on a flat, secure surface that can support the device’s weight and is resistant to high temperatures.
  • Never place the device on a flammable surface.
  • Never leave the device near an open flame, electric furnace, coal furnace or any other sources of heat.
  • The device can be used in ambient temperatures up to 32°C at normal humidity.
  • Do not leave the device in the vicinity of any steam-producing equipment.

WARNING! Electrical hazard!
Moisture may cause the device to short-circuit or result in electric shock.

WARNING!
Always secure the device using the brake. Failure to secure the device can cause it to move unexpectedly and may result in injuries or damage to the device

  • Do not use the device on ships, in campers or on aircraft.
  • Do not place metallic objects or other things on the device that may leave traces of rust.
  • The socket used for the device must be secured to a minimum of 16A. Only connect the device directly to a grounded socket; do not use an extension cord or multiple plug socket.
  • Place the device so that the plug is easily accessible and if necessary can be quickly disconnected from its power source.

Operating

Before first use

  • Wash the device prior to first use (see 6.2 „Cleaning“).
  • While heating, the device may emit an unpleasant odour resulting from the heating of insulation material. For this reason, we recommend heating the device without plates for around 2 hours prior to first use.

Adjusting leads

  • The leads in the plate chambers are adjustable. They should be adjusted to suit the circumference of the plates. The maximum circumference is 300 mm.
  • To properly adjust the leads, lift them up and then move until the proper size is reached. Next, lock the leads back into position.

WARNING! Danger of injury!
To prevent plates from sliding around, ensure that each lead is properly secured. Improper adjustment of leads can cause a platform to lock up or release at unexpected moments, which may result in serious bodily injury as well as damage to the device.

Regulating the height of the plate platform

  • The height of the plate platform is regulated by springs that connect the platform to the upper surface of the casing.
  • The unit is equipped at the factory with the appropriate amount of springs. Prior to first use, check the unit’s performance as delivered and with the use of your own plates.
  • Place 11 plates on the platform.
  • The height is properly set if approx. 4-5 plates are located above the upper edge of the casing.
  • If fewer or more than 4-5 plates are located above the upper edge of the casing, remove all the plates and adjust the springs.
  • Remove the plate platform.
  • To adjust the height of plates placed inside, individual springs may be suspended or removed.
  • Remove the springs from the inside to the outside. When removing springs, always begin from the one located on the inside.
  • To ease the removal of springs, remember to start at the lower mountings.

NOTE!
Remove or suspend springs symmetrically – the same number of springs must be attached at each of the four sides after you have finished adjusting the height.

  • After adjusting the unit’s plate distribution height, check it in the manner described above and remove an additional spring from each side as necessary.
  • Repeat this process until the unit is properly set up.

CAUTION!
If other plates are placed inside the rolling plate dispenser, check the height again and replace or remove springs as necessary.

The unit is supplied with additional springs as replacements for those that have worn out.

Capacity

  • The capacity listed for the rolling plate dispenser is approximate. The maximum number of plates that can be stacked in one chamber is approx. 50.
  • The capacity of a chamber is dependent on the type and size of plates.

CAUTION!
Do not use plastic plates!
Put only round plates in the rolling plate dispenser!

  • Fill the chamber with the desires number of plates.

WARNING! Danger of injury!
Do not overload the device. Take care not to exceed the capacity given. Overloading the device may cause it to tilt over and lead to serious bodily injury and damage to the device!

  • Cover the chambers with the plastic covers provided with the device.

Activation

  • Connect the device to a single grounded outlet.
  • Turn the device on using the ON/OFF switch at the front of the device.
  • The green control light near the switch will come on to indicate that the device is turned on.

Setting the temperature

  • The temperature can be set within a range of approx. 30° to 110°C, with the optimal temperature being around 60°C. Food will remain war m for a long time when placed on\ a plate at that temperature.
  • At 60°C, plates are not overly warm and can be han dled without burning fingers and hands.

WARNING! Danger of burns!
If the temperature is set above 60°C, use pot holde rs or protective gloves when removing plates!

  • Carefully check the temperature of the plates approx. 45 minutes after turning the device on, and change the temperature if necessary.
  • If the device is accessible by guests, ensure that the temperature dial cannot be moved by unauthorized persons. If such a possibility exists, we recommend placing the side of the device with the temperature dial facing the wall.

Heating time
Heat dishes for at least 120 minutes.

Various factors influence the amount of heating time required:

  • the material from which plates are made and their thickness;
  • the number of plates in the device;
  • the desired temperature.

As a result of the above, it is not possible to provide a precise heating time. The user will be able to determine the optimal settings while using the device, taking into account the factors mentioned above

Moving the device

  • To move the device to another location, turn it off using the ON/OFF switch, remove the plug from its socket, and wrap the power cable around the cable hook.
  • Carefully release the brakes, to prevent the legs from locking up.
  • Move the device while holding the transport handle with both hands.
  • Re-engage the brake in the rotating wheels.
  • If the device is to be moved along a tilted surface (such as a ramp), 2 people are required to move it (one at each side of the device).

WARNING! Danger of burns!
Always wear protective gloves when moving the device, as the surface may be very hot!

Removing plates

  • Remove plates as necessary.
  • If guests are to remove plates themselves, ensure that the temperature is set appropriately low (approx. 60°C).
  • Only remove the plastic covers when loading or removing plates, to avoid loss of heat

Turning the device off

  • If the device is to be unused, turn it off with the ON/OFF switch located at the front of the device.
  • Remove the plug from its socket and wind the power cable around the cable hook.
