The Tap and Die Set is a 40-piece set made of alloy steel. It includes various sizes of taps and dies for threading applications. The set comes with a die handle, tap wrench, T-type tap wrench, screw pitch gauge, and screwdriver.
Product Usage Instructions
- Before operating, please read the entire user manual carefully.
- Verify that the appearance of the product matches the one you received.
- Ensure that you have the necessary tools and equipment for the task.
- To thread a hole, select the appropriate tap size from the set.
- Secure the tap in the tap wrench and align it with the hole.
- Apply even pressure and rotate the tap clockwise to cut threads into the material.
- Continue rotating until the desired depth is reached.
- To thread a rod or bolt, select the corresponding die size from the set.
- Place the die in the die handle and align it with the rod or bolt.
- Apply even pressure and rotate the die clockwise to cut threads onto the rod or bolt.
- Continue rotating until the desired length of threads is achieved.
- Use the screw pitch gauge to measure the pitch of existing threads or check the thread size of the taps and dies.
