Product Information
The Ceiling Fan Remote Control is a device designed for the control of a ceiling fan. It is compatible with ceiling fans operating on an AC120V 60Hz power supply. The remote control consists of a handheld transmitter and a receiver that is installed in the ceiling fan canopy. The receiver provides protection and allows for seamless communication between the remote control and the ceiling fan.
Important Points to Remember
- Read and save these instructions.
- All fixed wiring appliances should be installed by a qualified electrician.
- The supply to the remote control receiver should be connected through a mains switch, such as an existing wall switch.
- Disconnect the power supply at the wall switch before working on the remote control receiver or ceiling fan.
- Install the receiver into the ceiling fan canopy to ensure proper protection.
- The receiver is suitable for installation in damp and wet rated fans but should not be submerged in water. The wall transmitter is for indoor use only.
- Avoid pulling on or cutting leads shorter. Do not drop or bump the unit.
- The battery should be replaced before leaking occurs to prevent damage to the transmitter. Dispose of used batteries properly and keep them out of reach of children.
- Do not use this product with any variable (rheostat) wall control to reduce the risk of fire or injury.
Product Usage Instructions
Installation Instructions
Caution: Incorrect wire connection will damage the receiver.
- Set the ceiling fan to HIGH speed before installation.
- Once the connection has been made, insert the receiver into the drop rod hanging bracket. The canopy will cover the receiver and bracket.
Installing Wall Bracket (Handset Transmitter):
You can install the bracket as shown in Figure 3.
Handset Transmitter Operation (Figure 4):
To activate the learning process, follow these steps:
- Turn on the receiver power.
- Press and hold the LEARN key on the back of the transmitter for 1-3 seconds.
After completing the learning process, the fan will turn on at medium speed, and the light (if installed) will also turn on, indicating that the SMART SYNC setting is active and functioning properly.
The transmitter requires 1 pc CR2032 3V battery. To replace the battery:
- Use a small tool to loosen the screw on the battery cover.
- Open the battery cover. The screw will remain attached to the cover and will not fall off.
Transmitter Functions:
- Light On/Off: Press this button to turn the light on or off.
- Brightness Control: Press and hold to brighten or dim the light to the desired level.
- Fan Speed Control: Use these buttons to control the speed of the ceiling fan. Press once for low speed, twice for medium speed, and three times for high speed.
- Natural Breeze Mode: Press this button to modulate fan speed and simulate a natural breeze.
- Forward/Reverse Airflow: Press this button to change the direction of the ceiling fan’s airflow.
- Turn Off: Press this button to turn off the ceiling fan.
Please dispose of used batteries properly and keep them away from children, as even used batteries may cause injury.

YOU MUST SET CEILING FAN MANUAL SWITCH TO HIGH SPEED AND THE LIGHT KIT TO THE
ON POSITION BEFORE INSTALLING THE REMOTE CONTROL.
IMPORTANT POINTS TO REMEMBER
- Read and save these instructions.
- Please note that all fixed wiring appliances should be installed by a qualified electrician.

- Install receiver into the ceiling fan canopy of the fan to ensure proper protection.
- This unit is to be used for the control of ceiling fan and in an AC120V 60Hz power supply only.
- The receiver is acceptable for installation in damp and wet rated fans, but cannot be submerged in water. The wall transmitter is only to be installed indoors.
- Do not pull on or cut leads shorter.
- Do not drop or bump the unit.
- PLEASE NOTE: The battery will weaken with age and should be replaced before leaking takes place as this will damage the transmitter. Dispose of used battery properly, keep the battery out of reach of children.
- CAUTION: To reduce the risk of fire or injury, do not use this product in conjunction with any variable (rheostat) wall control.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
CAUTION: INCORRECT WIRE CONNECTION WILL DAMAGE THIS RECEIVER.
- Ceiling fan must be set at HIGH speed before installation.
- Once the connection has been made, the receiver inserts into the drop rod hanging bracket. The canopy comes up to cover the receiver and bracket.
Installing Wall Bracket ( HANDSET TRANSMITTER)
You could install the bracket as the FIG.3 shows.
HANDSET TRANSMITTER OPERATION (FIG. 4)
- Activating the Learning process: Turn on the receiver power, press and hold the LEARN key (on the back of the transmitter) for 1~3S. Refer to FIG. 4
- Fan will turn on at medium speed and light (if installed) will turn on. This confirms that the SMART SYNC setting is active and ok.
- Transmitter use 1 pc CR2032 3V battery.
Noted: Prevent the children from swallowing battery by mistake, the battery cover has been locked with screw. Before replacing the battery, using a small tool to loosen the screw of the cover, so that can open it.In the process, the screw still left on the battery cover and will not fall off.
FUNCTION
- : Turn the light on or off.
- : Press and hold to brighten light to the desired level and release.
- : Press and hold to dim light to the desired level and release.
- : Fan speed will modulate to simulate a natural breeze.
- : Press this button for forward/reverse airflow of ceiling fan.
- : Turn off the ceiling fan.
- : Turn on the fan at high speed.
- : Turn on the fan at medium speed.
- : Turn on the fan at low speed.
WARNING: Chemical Burn Hazard. Keep batteries away from children. This remote contains a lithium button cell battery. If a new or used lithium button/coin cell battery is swallowed or enters the body, it can cause severe internal burns and can lead to death in as little as 2 hours. Always completely secure the battery compartment. If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product, remove the batteries, and keep it away from children. If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.
Dispose of cells properly and keep away from children. Even used cells may cause injury.
