ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS: (SEE FIGURE I & 2)
Estimated assembly time: 5-10 minutes
Tool free, I thumb screw included
NOTE : MAKE SURE YOU REMOVE ALL CONTENTS FROM THE PACKAGE. PLEASE CHECK PACKAGING MATERIALS FOR PARTS THAT COULD BE REOUIRED TO OPERATE THIS FAN.

  1. To secure the Base Holies (f) together, slide the posts of one bass half into the slots of the second base half. (Refer to Figure 2.)
  2. Pull the power cord through the (enter hole of the base.
  3. Position the power cord into slot of the bottom of the base and into the rear base slet.
  4. Hold the Fan Housing 3 (E) onto the assembled base and turn the boss clockwise until it no longer turns and locks in place. install thumb screw to secure.
  5. Place the assembled Fan Housing 3 (E) with rho Base right side up and place on a dry and level sulfate.
  6. Insert Fan Housing 2 (D) into Fon Housing 3 (E) and match the location icon “ ****‘. Turn clockwise to lock into position. Once locked into position, verify the housing is secured and does not rotate.
  7. Insert Fan Housing 1 (C) into Fan Housing 2 (3) and match the location icon “ ****“. Turn clockwise to lock into position. Once locked into position, verify the housing is secured and does not rotate.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS: (SEE FIGURE 3)

  1. Plug the cord into a standard 120 volt AC outlet.
  2. To turn the fan on, press the POWER button (A) located on the control panel or remote control, indicator light will be on. The fan will start running on speed 3.
  3. Press the speed button (8) to cycle through 4 speed settings in sequence. the corresponding indicator light will illuminate.
  4. To turn the oscillation on and off, press the OSC button (D) located on the control panel or remote control.
  5. To thong. the mode, press the MODE button (E) to cycle though the mode selection; indicator light will be on to indicate the Normal, Breeze, Sleep, or Poore Breeze modes.
  6. To set your fan to automatically shut off, press the timer button (C) located on the control pone) or the remote control. When set, the fon will run and automatically shut off after the set duration of tine (I, 2, 4, 8 hours) has expired.
  7. To silence setting confirmation beeps, press the MUTE button (F) located on the remote control; MUTE icon on the LED display will be on. Press the button again to roodivote setting confirmation beeps; MUTE ken on the LED display will be off.
  8. To turn the fan off press the pat button (A) located on the control panel or remote control.

NOTE Your fon features o LED display panel. When u specific feature is actheted on your fan, the LED panel will illuminate with the corresponding ‘fronts) showing which features have beer activated.

DISASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Make sure the fon has been cnplugged before disassembly.
  2. Push and hold the lacking knob in place. By holding the base in place , turn Fan Housing I (C) anidockwise to release .
  3. Repeat Step 2 to release Fan Housing 2 (D).
  4. Pull the Base Tab (I) and rotate the base anidockwise  while keeping Fan Housing 3 (E) in place to unlock the base from the fun housing. Remote thumb screw.
  5. Pull the power cord out through the centre hole of the boat.
  6. Store the disassembled fan pieces in the proided storage bag (0).

REMOTE CONTROL: (SEE FIGURE 4) NOTE: PLEASE REMOVE THE PROTECTIVE PLASTIC FROM THE REMOTE CONTROL BATTERY BEFORE OPERATION. This unit includes one lithium battery, CR2025/3V.
Remore battery before discarding tbe remote.
Belay Replacement
The cells shoild be disposed of properly, including keeping then Doty from children. ben used cells may cause injury.

a) Locate the battery comportment 0n the bottom back of the rontme control handset. Push and pull battery tray.
b) Remove old battery.
c) Place new battery into battery comportment.
d) Slide battery compliment into the remote control handset.

NOTES:

  • Remove the busty from the equipment when it is not being used for an extended period of time.
  • Remove the used battery promptly.
  • Do not discord used batteries into household trash containers. Contact your locol goverment for disposal or recycling proctices in your area.

CLEANING / MAINTENANCE

CLEANING/MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS

REPLACEABLE FUSE
If the (2.5 Amp, 125 volt) replaceable fuse blows, please visit our websile at www.getholmesfans.com for information on how to order a new fuse. Follow the below instructions to replace ihe fuse on the plug.
User Servklug Instructions

  1. Unplug the fan. Grasp plug end remove form the  receplease or other outlet device. Do not unplug by pulling on cord.

  2. Open fuse cover, located on the top of the plug, by wsing your thumb or a flotheod srewdriver 1o dide the cover down towards the prongs.
    NOTE Insure thoi fuse cost is complesdy open befxe attempting to romove fuse.

  3.  Remote fuse carefully In using a small screwdriver to pry the fuse out of the compartmetn by the metal ends of the fuse. (see figure 5)

  4. Place plug on a sed, flat surfae. insert new 25 Amp, 125 volt fuse into fuse compartment and use a small screwdriver to wise the metal ends of the fuse into the compartment .
    CAUTION:
    Risk of fire. Replace fuse only with 25 Amp, 125 Volt fuse.

  5. Slide fuse cover closed completely. If fuse cover is difficult to close; make sure fuse is secured in place completely by pressing down on metal ends of the fuse.

  6. Risk of fire. Do not replays attetment plug. Contains a safety device (fuse) that should not be removed. Discard product if the attetment plug is domeged.

FAN CLEANING

  • Always unplug the fan before Cleaning.
  • Do not allow utter to drip on or enter into fan housing.
  • Be sure to use a soft cloth moistened with u mad soap solution.
  • Do not use gasoline, thinner or benzene as a cleaner.

Clean the fun grill, housing and base with a soft, damp cloth. Do not attempt to remove the fan blade. Please use caution around the housing yea. Do not allow the molar or °thee electrical components to be exoosd to utter.

FAN STORAGE
When shying this fan in the off season, it is important to keep it in o safe thy location. It is important to protect the fan from dust.
For inquiries regarding recycling and proper disposal of this product, please contact your local waste management facility.
