INTRODUCTION

The MYMonitorII lets a performer hear them self through headphones exclusively or mixed with the output of a mixer or other stereo source. The microphone thru provides a direct connection to your mixer and allows for phantom powering of condenser microphones from the board.

The instrument/line input and thru connections allow you to locally monitor your instrument while still connecting direct to your amplifier.
While supplied with a 12V DC adapter, the MYMonitorII can also be battery powered for portable applications. The pop-less microphone on/off switch lets you locally mute the microphone. The headphone section has independent 1/8-inch and 1/4-inch outputs with plenty of drive for both. The product is designed for the highest quality audio performance and its compact rugged package will give you years of reliable use.

INSTALLATION and OPERATION
  1. Connect your microphone output to the XLR
MICROPHONE INPUT. Next connect the XLR MICROPHONE THRU directly to the XLR microphone input on you mixer. Your microphone can be phantom powered from your mixer, if needed, as the MYMonitorII will allow power to pass directly through the units XLR connections.

  2. Connect your instrument, line, or speaker level signal to the INST/LINE INPUT. Connect a 1/4-inch phone jack cable from the INSTRUMENT/LINE THRU and the other end to where your signal was going to, The MYMonitorII is then inline with the feed to your  amplifier or other device.

  3. Connect your mixers monitor output or other stereo source to the STEREO MONITOR INPUT.

  4. Connect headphones or other stereo monitoring system to the MONITOR OUT/HEADPHONES outputs. One or both outputs can be used at the same time.

  5. Connect the supplied 12V DC power supply to the MYMonitorII or install a 9V battery for portable operation. Push the POWER switch in to enable power and the switch will light red if power is available. When using a battery for power, be sure to turn the POWER switch off when not using the unit in order to maximize battery life.

  6. When using a microphone source, pushing the MIC switch in will mute the microphones audio signal (off).

  7. The INST/LINE switch, when in the out position, gives you enough gain for instrument level signals. If you have a higher line or speaker level signal then push the switch in and the signal will be attenuated at the input to prevent clipping.

  8. Once connections have been made and switches set you can adjust the front panel level controls for the desired signal levels at the headphone/monitor outputs. The local monitor mix and level are only applied to local monitor outputs. The source microphone and instrument signals are still fed directly thru the unit to any other equipment connected to the thru connections.
