Product Information

The product is a lighting fixture manufactured by Hudson Valley Lighting Group. It is part of the Corbett Yadira collection. Product Usage Instructions

1. Before starting the installation process, ensure that there are no exposed wires or strands that could cause a dangerous short circuit.
2. Attach the cable clamp (N) and safety cable (M) to secure the fixture properly.
3. Mount the fixture using the provided mounting plate (A) and mounting screws (B). Make sure to never connect the ground wire to the hot wire to prevent serious injury or death.
4. Use a wire nut (D) to connect the wires without reversing the hot and neutral wires. Reversing them can lead to serious injury or death.
5. Assemble the fixture by attaching the ball nuts (E) and installing the recommended 8-watt type B bulb (H) into the socket.
6. Ensure that the alabaster lamp (I), chain (G), washer (J), ring (K), and finite are properly attached for a complete fixture assembly.
7. Remember not to exceed the recommended wattage for the bulb to prevent any damage or hazards.
8. If you need replacement parts, refer to the part numbers provided and consult the hardware kit for further assistance.

• DISCONNECT POWER BEFORE RE-LAMPING OR WIRING THE FIXTURE. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS COMPLETELY BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION.
• TO AVOID THE RISK OF FIRE OR SHOCK, FIXTURE MUST BE INSTALLED IN COMPLIANCE WITH ALL APPLICABLE NATIONAL AND LOCAL ELECTRICAL/BUILDING CODES. THE INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE OF THIS UNIT SHOULD BE COMPLETED BY A LICENSED ELECTRICIAN OR CERTIFIED FACTORY TRAINED TECHNICIAN.
• CALIFORNIA PROP 65: THIS LIGHTING FIXTURE CONTAINS CHEMICALS KNOWN TO THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA TO CAUSE CANCER, BIRTH DEFECTS, AND/OR OTHER REPRODUCTIVE HARM. WASH HANDS AFTER USE.
• UNPACK FIXTURE, PARTS AND PARTS BAG(S) BEFORE DISCARDING THE CARTON. MAKE CERTAIN THAT ALL PARTS ARE FOUND. INSPECT THE FIXTURE PRIOR TO INSTALLATION FOR ANY DAMAGE. HVLG DOES NOT PAY OR REIMBURSE ELECTRICIAN FEES. FIXTURE MAY NOT BE RETURNED ONCE IT HAS BEEN INSTALLED. SEE WARRANTY FOR EXCEPTIONS.
• PLEASE CLEAN WITH A SOFT, DRY CLOTH ONLY! DO NOT USE CLEANSERS.

FIXTURE INSTALLATION

1. Slide crimp type CABLE CLAMP (N) onto the safety cable. Feed the SAFETY CABLE (M) down through one of the holes in the top of the outlet box. Loop the SAFETY CABLE (M) over the approved support. Feed the SAFETY CABLE (M) back through the top of the box and the CABLE CLAMP (N). Using the crimping tool, tightly crimp the CABLE CLAMP (N) to lock the SAFETY CABLE (M) in position.

2. Attach the MOUNTING PLATE (A) onto the junction box using the MOUNTING SCREWS (B). This
   fixture is designed to be mounted on heavy duty junction box rated for a minimum 90lbs. The
   junction box must be securely mounted to the structure of the building.

3. Attach the Ground wire (Green to the ground inside the outlet box Generally green or bar copper wire or the GROUND SCREW C) on the MOUNTING PLATE (A). NEVER CONNECT GROUND WIRE TO “HOT” WIRE! FAILURE TO FOLLOW THIS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH!

4. Connect the white fixture lead to the neutral (Generally white) wire in the outlet box. Fasten the wires together with an approved fastener (WIRE NUT) (D). Starting I” below the fastener, tightly wrap theconnection with electrical tape so that the connections seals the end of the fastener. MAKE SURE THERE ARE NO EXPOSED WIRE OF STRANDS THAT COULD CAUSE A DANGEROUS SHORT CIRCUIT!

5. Connect the black fixture leads to the hot (Generally black) wire in the junction box. Fasten the joined wires same as previous step. NEVER REVERSE HOT AND NEUTRAL WIRES. FAILURE TO FOLLOW THIS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH!

6. Attach the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (F) to the MOUNTING PLATE (A) and secure with the BALL NUTS (E).

7. Screw the BULB (H) into the SOCKET of the fixture. THIS FIXTURE IS RATED FOR 8 WATT TYPE B LAMP. DO NOT EXCEED THE RECOMMENDED WATTAGE!

8. Lift the ALABASTER (I) up to the CHAIN (G) and secure with the WASHER (J), RING (K) and FINIAL (L).

9. Restore power to the outlet at the breaker or fuse box.
