Product Information

The product is a lighting fixture manufactured by Hudson Valley Lighting Group. It is part of the Corbett Pietra collection. The fixture comes with LED lights and includes various components such as a mounting plate, mounting screws, chain, canopy, alabaster ring, glass, and finial.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Start by assembling the fixture with LED lights (I).
2. Attach the chain (H) to the fixture assembly.
3. Connect the loop (G) and canopy (F) to the mounting plate (A) using the chain (H).
4. Secure the grounding screw (C) to the mounting plate (A). Ensure that the ground wire is not connected to the hot wire to avoid serious injury or death.
5. Use wire nuts (D) to connect the wires. Make sure there are no exposed wires or strands that could cause a dangerous short circuit.
6. Never reverse the hot and neutral wires to prevent serious injury or death.
7. Use set screws (E) to secure the canopy (F).
8. Attach the alabaster ring (K) to the fixture assembly (I).
9. Install the glass (L) onto the fixture assembly (I).
10. Finally, attach the finial (M) to complete the installation.

• DISCONNECT POWER BEFORE RE-LAMPING OR WIRING THE FIXTURE. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS COMPLETELY BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION.
• TO AVOID THE RISK OF FIRE OR SHOCK, FIXTURE MUST BE INSTALLED IN COMPLIANCE WITH ALL APPLICABLE NATIONAL AND LOCAL ELECTRICAL/BUILDING CODES. THE INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE OF THIS UNIT SHOULD BE COMPLETED BY A LICENSED ELECTRICIAN OR CERTIFIED FACTORY TRAINED TECHNICIAN.
• CALIFORNIA PROP 65: THIS LIGHTING FIXTURE CONTAINS CHEMICALS KNOWN TO THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA TO CAUSE CANCER, BIRTH DEFECTS, AND/OR OTHER REPRODUCTIVE HARM. WASH HANDS AFTER USE.
• UNPACK FIXTURE, PARTS AND PARTS BAG(S) BEFORE DISCARDING THE CARTON. MAKE CERTAIN THAT ALL PARTS ARE FOUND. INSPECT THE FIXTURE PRIOR TO INSTALLATION FOR ANY DAMAGE. HVLG DOES NOT PAY OR REIMBURSE ELECTRICIAN FEES. FIXTURE MAY NOT BE RETURNED ONCE IT HAS BEEN INSTALLED. SEE WARRANTY FOR EXCEPTIONS.
• PLEASE CLEAN WITH A SOFT, DRY CLOTH ONLY! DO NOT USE CLEANSERS.

FIXTURE INSTALLATION

1. Attach the MOUNTING PLATE (A) onto the junction box using the MOUNTING SCREWS (B). This fixture is designed to be mounted on standard round or octagon junction box. The junction box must be securely mounted to the structure of the building.
2. Open the end link on the CHAIN (H) and attach to the loop on the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (WITH LED) (I). Hang the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (WITH LED) (I) on the CHAIN (H) at your desired height, and remove excess CHAIN (H).
3. Feed the wire through the CHAIN (H) , LOOP (G), CANOPY (F) and MOUNTING PLATE (A).
4. Open the top link on the CHAIN (H), and Hang the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (WITH LED) (I) to the LOOP (F).
5. Cut off excess wire, and strip the insulation off the end of the leads.
6. Attach the Ground wire (Green) to the ground inside the junction box (Generally green or bar copper wire) or the GROUND SCREW (C) on the MOUNTING PLATE (A). NEVER CONNECT GROUND WIRE TO “HOT’ WIRE! FAILURE TO FOLLOW THIS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH!
7. Connect the fixture lead the ridge(s) to the neutral (Generally white) wire in the outlet box. Fasten the wires together with an approved fastener (WIRE NUT) (D). Starting I” below the fastener, tightly wrap the connection with electrical tape so that the connections seals the end of the fastener. MAKE SURE THERE ARE NO EXPOSED WIRE OF STRANDS THAT COULD CAUSE A DANGEROUS SHORT CIRCUIT!
8. Connect the smooth fixture leads with to the hot (Generally black) wire in the junction box. Fasten the joined wires same as previous step. NEVER REVERSE HOT AND NEUTRAL WIRES. FAILURE TO FOLLOW THIS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH!
9. Push the wires back into the junction box. Lift up the CANOPY (F) up to the ceiling, and secure with the SET SCREWS (E).
10. Lift the ALABASTER (J) up to the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (WITH LED) (I) and secure with the RING (K).
11. Lift the GLASS (L) up to the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (WITH LED) (I) and secure with the FINIAL (M).
12. Restore power to the outlet at the breaker or fuse box.
