INTRODUCTION

Thank you for choosing a product from Salling. You have acquired a quality product which meets all applicable performance and safety standards in the EU. In order to ensure proper treatment and a long product life, we recommend that you comply with the instructions below.
Please read the manual and especially the safety instructions carefully before using the product. Keep this manual and provide it for referral along with the product when others are using it.

GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  • Improper use of the product can cause personal injury and damage.
  • Only use the product for what it is intended. The manufacturer is not liable for damages arising from improper use or handling.
  • Always place the product on a dry, flat and stable surface well away from table edge or similar.
  • The product is intended for household use only. The product is not for professional use.
  • The product may only be connected to 220-240V~, 50/60Hz.
  • The product engine/electronics, cord or plug cannot be submerged in water, and no water may get in contact with the engine/electronics.
  • Never touch the product, cord or plug with wet or damp hands.
  • Do not expose the product to direct sunlight, high temperatures, humidity, dust or corrosive substances.
  • Never leave the product when it is turned on.
  • When the product is in use, it should be kept under constant supervision. Children should always be supervised when using the product to ensure that they do not play with the product. The product is not a toy.
  • The product may have sharp parts and must, therefore, be kept out of reach of children.
  • Only use the accessories that come with the product or that are recommended by the manufacturer.
  • This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
  • Keep the product and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years of age.
  • Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

CORD AND PLUG

  • Do not let the cord hang over the edge.
  • Keep the cord and the product away from heat sources, hot objects and open flames.
  • Unplug the power cord before cleaning and if the product is not in use. Do not pull the cord when removing the plug from the socket, rather grasp the plug itself.
  • Make sure that the cord is fully extended.
  • Check regularly that the cord and the plug are not damaged and do not use the product if this is the case, or if it has been dropped on the floor, dropped in water or damaged in another way.
  • If the product or plug is damaged, the product must be inspected and, if necessary, repaired by an authorised repairer.
    Never try to repair the product yourself. Please, contact the store to see if there is a repair that falls under warranty. Tampering of the product will void the warranty.

SECURITY WARNING

  • Please keep the plug clean to avoid a disaster.
  • Do not damage, strongly pull or twist the power cord, or transform it. CAUTIONS

  • Please carefully ready the instruction manual before using the appliance. Keep the manual for future reference.
  • Never fill the pot with oil, or it may cause a fire hazard.
  • The appliance contains electronic components and heating elements. Do not wash it in water or put into water.
  • Do not cover the air inlet and outlet when in use. Do not touch the inside of the appliance to avoid burns and scalding.
  • The surfaces are liable to get hot during use. Do not touch the hot surfaces. Use the handle or knob.
  • High temperature air will flow out through the outlet when the appliance is in use. Please keep a safe distance. Do not touch the hot surfaces. Do not close to the air outlet. When pulling out the pot, please be careful of high temperature air/steam.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

  • Remove all packaging material.
  • Remove any stickers or labels from the appliance.
  • Thoroughly clean the frying plate and the pot with hot water, some washing soap and a non-abrasive sponge.
  • Wipe the inside and outside of the appliance with a moist cloth.
  • Place the appliance on a stable, horizontal, and level surface. Do not place the appliance on a non-heat-resistant surface. Place the appliance with good air circulation and away from hot surfaces, and any combustible materials.
  • Properly place the frying plate into the pot. Slide the pot back into the appliance.
  • This is an appliance that works on hot air. Do not fill the pot with oil or frying fat.
  • Do not put anything on top of the appliance. This disrupts the airflow and affects the hot air frying result.

HOW TO USE

  1. Put the mains plug in an earthed wall socket.

  2. Press the ON/OFF button.

  3. Press the temperature increase/decrease button to set the desired temperature for cooking.

  4. Press the time increase/decrease button to set preheating (5 mins). Press the ON/OFF button once more to start. The air fryer is now ready for use.

  5. When the timer reaches 0, carefully pull the fry pot out of the appliance, place the ingredients inside the fry pot (attention: do not exceed the maximum line), slide the fry pot back into the appliance.
    a)Never use the fry pot without the frying plate.
    b)Do not touch the pot during use and sometime after use, because it gets very hot. Only hold the pot by the handle.

  6. Press the mode selection button to choose the appropriate cooking program or press the temperature increase/decrease button and time increase/decrease button to choose the appropriate temperature and time.

  7. Press the ON/OFF button once more to start cooking.

  8. When you hear the timer beep, the set time is finished. Pull the pot out of appliance and place it on a heat-resistant surface.

  9. Check if the ingredients are ready. If the ingredients are not ready yet, simply slide the pot back into the appliance and set the timer to a few extra minutes.

  10. If the ingredients are ready, carefully pull out the pot, and remove the ingredients. Do not turn the pot upside down, as any excess oil that has collected on the bottom of the pot will leak onto the ingredients.

  11. When a batch of ingredients is ready, the appliance is instantly ready for preparing another batch.

TIPS :

  • Add some oil on the ingredients for a crispy result.
  • Shaking ingredients halfway during the cooking process will optimize the result and can help prevent unevenly fried ingredients. To shake the ingredients, pull the pot out of the appliance by the handle and shake it. Then slide the pot back into the appliance.

HEAT PRESERVATION FUNCTION
Press the button when the appliance is on/working. It will keep activate the keep warm function for 120 minutes.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  1. Before cleaning, set the timer to 0, unplug the appliance and wait for the appliance to cool down. Don’t touch the surface before it is cooled down completely.

  2. Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid. The appliance is not dishwasher proof.

  3. Clean the surface of the fry plate and pot with hot water, some washing soap liquid and a non-abrasive sponge.
    If dirt is stuck to the frying plate or the bottom of the pot, fill the pot with hot water with some washing soap. Put the frying plate in the pot and let the pot soak for about 10 minutes.

  4. Used damp cloth to wipe the surface of the fryer. Never use harsh and abrasive cleaners, souring pad or steel wool, which damages the surface/appliance.

  5. If you do not intend to use the appliance for a long time, please clean it, and store it in a cool and dry place.

TROUBLESHOOTING

1. Asia Spicy Fries
-Potato————————-4 pcs/ 600g
-Oil—————————–2 teaspoons
-Salt—————————-1 teaspoon
-Pepper powder—————1 teaspoon
-Scallion powder————–1 teaspoon
-Red chili powder ————1/2 teaspoon

  • Peel potatoes and cut into strips.
  • Dipping potato strips into salt water at least 20mins, and then dry with kitchen paper.
  • Well mix shallot, salt and pepper, garlic powder/ garlic oil, red chili powder; stir in potato strips.
  • Set temperature to 200°C and timer to 5 minutes for preheating.
  • Place potato strips into the fry plate evenly, put the fry plate with the pot back into the appliance; and set the timer for 15-20minutes (depending on the size of the fries), or until the fries becomes golden brown.

*Optional: turn over the fries by shaking the pot in the middle of the cooking process, for better cooking results.

2. Gold chicken wings
-Chicken wings—————-500g
-Garlic—————————2 pc
-Ginger powder—————–2 teaspoon
-Cumin powder—————–1 teaspoon
-Black pepper powder———1 teaspoon
-Sweet chili sauce————–100 mg

  • Set temperature to 200 °C and timer to 5 minutes of preheating.
  • Stir Garlic, ginger powder, cumin powder, spicy black pepper and a little salt together, and then put on the chicken wings. Leave the food for 20 minutes.
  • Put the chicken wings into the frying plate evenly, put the frying plate and pot back into the appliance. Set the timer for 15-20 minutes or until the foods becomes golden brown.

3. Fried chicken nuggets
-Fresh chicken nuggets————500g
-Egg (broken up)——————-3 pcs
-Flour——————————–1 cup
-Olive oi—————————–1 spoon
-White pepper powder———— 1 teaspoon

  • Set the temperature to 200°C and the timer to 5 minutes of preheating.
  • Pat the chicken for 5 minutes with a knife blade.
  • Stir eggs, flour, olive oil, white pepper and a little salt together, and then put on the chicken nuggets. Leave the food for 20 minutes.
  • Put the chicken nuggets into the frying plate evenly, put the fry plate with pot back into the appliance. Set the timer for 15-20 minutes or until the foods becomes golden brown.

4. Fried Lamb Chops
-Lamb chops——–500g (at room temperature)
-Brandy——————————-little
-Oil————————————2 soup-spoon
-Ground pepper powder————1 teaspoon
-Crushed black pepper————–1 teaspoon
-Soy sauce—————————-1 teaspoon

  • Set temperature to 200°C and timer to 2 minutes of preheating.
  • Mix seasoning.
  • Completely coat the lamb chops with a well-mixed seasoning and marinate. Leave the food for 20 minutes.
  • Putting the lamp chops into the frying plate evenly, put the frying plate with pot back into the appliance. Set the timer for 10-12 minutes.
  • Then open and turn over the lamp legs. Reduce the temperature to 150°C and fry for 10 minutes more or until brown.

5. Fried Lamb Kebabs
-Lamb Kebab (room temperature) —–500g
-Onion————————–appropriate amount
-Egg (Broken up)————————-1 pc
-Cumin powder—————————1 teaspoon
-Chili powder—————————–1 teaspoon
-Oil—————————————–2 teaspoon

  • Set the temperature to 200°C and timer to 5 minutes of preheating.
  • Stir the onion, egg, chili powder, salad oil, salt, cumin powder together, and then put on the Lamb Kebab.
  • Leave the seasoned Lamb Kebab for 20 minutes.
  • Put the Lamb Kebab into the frying plate evenly, put the frying plate with pot back into the appliance. Fry for 15-20 minutes or until brown.

6. Fried Pork Chops
-Pork chops— ——-500g (at room temperature)
-Eggs (beaten)————————-2pcs
-Starch———————————-1 cup
-Ginger powder————————1/2 teaspoon
-Garlic———————————–1/2 teaspoon
-Chicken power————————1/2 teaspoon
-Soy sauce——————————-1/2 teaspoon
-Salt————————————–1/2 teaspoon

  • Set temperature to 200°C and timer to 5 minutes of preheating.
  • Well mix seasoning and then coated pork chops and marinate. Leave the food for 20 minutes.
  • Put the pork chops into the frying plate evenly, put the frying plate with pot back into the appliance and set the timer for 10-12 minutes.
  • Then open and turn over the chops. Reduce the temperature to 150 °C and fry for 10 minutes more or until become brown.
