- Slide crimp type CABLE CLAMP (U) (U) onto the safety cable. Feed the SAFETY CABLE (T) down through one of the holes in the top of the outlet box. Loop the SAFETY CABLE (T) over the approved support. Feed the SAFETY CABLE (1) back through the top of the box and the CABLE CLAMP (U). Using the crimping tool, tightly crimp the CABLE CLAMP (U) to lock the SAFETY CABLE (T) in position.
- Feed the wire through the STEM KIT (I) and twist tightly onto the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (M). Keep adding additional stems until you desired hanging height is met.
- Slide in CANOPY (1) onto the STEM KIT (I), and thread the NIPPLE (H) onto the top end of the STEM KIT (I).
- Pull the wire out from the junction box, and install the MOUNTING PLATE (A) onto the junction box and NIPPLE (E) (BY OTHER) using the MOUNTING SCREWS (B). and secure with the WASHERS (F) (BY OTHER), HEX NUTS (G) (BY OTHER) This fixture is designed to be mounted on heavy duty junction box rated for a minimum 90Ibs. The junction box must be securely mounted to the structure of the building. MAKE SURE THE NIPPLE (E) (BY OTHER) ARE STRONG ENOUGH!
- Trim off the excess wire to a minimum 6′ beyond the STEM and strip each wire Ir.
- Attach the Ground wire (Green) to the ground inside the outlet box (Generally green or bar copper wire) or the GROUND SCREW (C) on the MOUNTING PLATE (A). NEVER CONNECT GROUND WIRE TO ‘HOT’ WIRE! FAILURE TO FOLLOW THIS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH!
- Conned the white fixture lead to the neutral (Generally white) wire in the outlet box. Fasten the wires together with an approved fastener ( WIRE NUT) (D). Starting 1′ below the fastener, tightly wrap the connection with electrical tape so that the connections seals the end of the fastener. MAKE SURE THERE ARE NO EXPOSED WIRE OF STRANDS THAT COULD CAUSE A DANGEROUS SHORT CIRCUIT!
- Conned the black fixture leads to the hot (Generally black) wire in the outlet box. Fasten the joined wires same as previous step. NEVER REVERSE HOT AND NEUTRAL WIRES. FAILURE TO FOLLOW THIS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH!
- Push the wires back into the junction box. Lift up the CANOPY (1) up to the ceiling, and secure it with the HEADLESS SCREW by using supplied ALLEN KEY TOOLING (K) .
- Screw the BULB (N) into the SOCKET of the fixture. THIS FIXTURE IS RATED FOR 25 WATT TYPE G25 LAMP. DO NOT EXCEED THE RECOMMENDED WATTAGE!
- Screw the TUBE (L) to the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (M) then screw the GLASS F (S) to the TUBE (L) of the fixture .
- Screw the GLASS A, B, C, D (O,P,Q,R) into the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (M) of the fixture.
- Restore power to the outlet at the breaker or fuse box.
