Product Information

The OFX MP3 Digital Player is a versatile audio device that allows you to enjoy music from various sources. It features a USB port for playing MP3 files from a flash drive, Bluetooth connectivity for wireless audio streaming, and an FM radio function for listening to your favorite stations. The device also supportsTrue Wireless Stereo (TWS) connection, which enables you to pair two speakers together for a more immersive sound experience. With its compact size and easy-to-use controls, the OFX MP3 DigitalPlayer is perfect for both indoor and outdoor use.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Step 1: Find the USB power cord included in the packaging.
2. Step 2: Locate a power outlet (AC 120V/60Hz) and connect the unit to a power source. It is recommended to charge the device for at least 4 hours before the first use.
3. Step 3: Once fully charged, turn the Power knob on the top panel clockwise to switch on the unit.
4. Step 4: Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 files into the USB port located next to the display screen. The device will automatically start playing the music from the USB.
5. Step 5: Use the Volume knob to adjust the overall volume according to your preference. Turn it counter-clockwise to power down the unit.
6. Step 6: To navigate through tracks, use the Forward and Rewind keys. In FM mode, these keys can be used to change radio stations.

Bluetooth Mode

To enable Bluetooth mode on the BT-84, press the MODE button. On your mobile device, open the Bluetooth settings and search for “QFX BT-84.” Select the option to pair both devices together. Once connected, you can enjoy music from your favorite app without the need to reconnect when switching through modes.

FM Radio Mode

To access FM radio mode, press the MODE button. The device operates within a frequency band of 87.8 MHz to 108 MHz. Press and hold the Play/Pause button to scan available frequencies in your area. Extend the telescoping antenna for better reception.

TWS Connection

To establish a TWS wireless Bluetooth connection between two speakers, follow these steps:

1. Enable Bluetooth mode on both speakers.
2. Press and hold the TWS button on both speakers simultaneously to sync them together. Note that both units must be of the same make and model to function.
3. The display screen will show “ON” once the connection is successful.
4. On your mobile device, navigate to the Bluetooth menu and search for “BT-84.” Connect to it.
5. Open your favorite music app and enjoy True Wireless Stereo sound.
6. To exit TWS mode, press and hold the TWS button on either speaker.

Important Safety Measures

Please read and adhere to the following safety instructions before using the OFX MP3 Digital Player:

1. Ensure that the power cord is not trampled on, pressed by heavy objects, or pierced. Keep it away from stress and provide ample space for it to rest on the ground. Do not pull or drag the power cord.
2. Place the unit in a well-ventilated space and avoid covering the vents on the back panel. If positioning the device alongside a wall, maintain a minimum distance of 10cm to allow proper airflow. Avoid placing the unit on surfaces that may restrict airflow.
3. Do not attempt to dismantle or open the unit. It is a high-powered device that can cause serious harm if tampered with.
4. If unusual smoke appears, immediately unplug the power cord from the wall outlet and contact customer support at support@qfxusa.com. Operating hours are Mon-Fri 9AM – 5PM (PSl).

POWER SOURCE: Please charge the unit for at least 4 hours before first- time use. Use the dial to switch the unit on or off by turning it clockwise or counter-clockwise.

STEP SETUP GUIDE

• Step 1 Find the USB power cord to the BT-84 located in the packaging.
• Step 2 Find a power outlet (AC 120V/60Hz) and supply the unit with power. Please charge for 4hrs before the first use
• Step 3 Once charged, move to the top panel and turn the Power knob clockwise to turn ON the unit.
• Step 4 Insert a USB flash drive in the USB port located next to the display screen. The BT-84 will automatically begin playing the .mp3 content from the USB
• Step 5 Use the Volume knob to adjust the overall Volume to your taste. Turn counter-clockwise to power down the unit.
• Step 6 Use the Forward and Rewind keys to move to the next track or prevous track. If in FM mode, these keys will change radio sation.

BT-84 BLUETOOTH

Bluetooth Mode: Use the MODE button to enable Bluetooth on the BT-84. Open the Bluetooth settings on your mobile device and search for QFX BT-84. Select the option to pair both devices together. You can now sit back and enjoy the music from your favorite app. You won’t need reconnect the Bluetooth again when switching through modes.

BT-84 FM RADIO:

FM Radio: Frequency-Modulated stations operate in a frequency band extending from 87.8 MHz to 108 MHz. Use the MODE button to select the FM mode. In FM mode, press and hold the Play/Pause button to scan available frequencies in the area. Extend the telescoping antenna to enhance reception.

BT-84 TWS CONNECTION:
TWS Wireless Bluetooth Connection: Enable Bluetooth mode on both speakers. Press and hold the TWS button on both of the speakers to sync both units together (they must be the same make and model to function). The display screen will read ON with a succesful connection. On your mobile device under the Bluetooth menu, search for BT-84 and connect. Open your favorite music app and enjoy True Wireless Stereo. To Exit TWS press and hold the TWS button.

1. Electric Power Supply Line: Keep the power cord safe from being trampled on, pressed on by heavy objects, or pierced. Make sure that the cord has ample space to rest on the ground and is not stressed. DO NOT pull or drag or the power supply line.
2. Ventilation: This unit must be set in a ventilated space. DO NOT cover the vents on the back panel for any reason. If placed alongside a wall, distance the unit a minimum of 10cm to allow air flow. DO NOT surface that might restricted good air flow.
3. Dismantling: DO NOT dismantle or open the unit. This is a high-powered unit that can cause serious harm if tampered with. DO NOT Open.
4. Smoke: Please unplug the power supplies cord from the wall outlet immediately if unusual smoke appears and contact customer support

WHERE THE PARTY STARTS

BASIC OPERATION and TWS

POWER SOURCE

1. Please charge the unit at least 4 hours before first time use.
2. Turn the dial clockwise/counter-clockwise to switch on/off the unit.

CHARGE THE BATTERY
When the battery is charging, the battery icon will show on the display screen. After the battery has fully charged, the light will turn OFF.

1. Connect the USB cable to the DC5V interface of the speaker firmly. Supply the unit with 5V, 1 A minimum.
2. When the battery is fully charged, please disconnect the USB charge cable from the speaker.
3. When the speaker is completely out of battery power, you may plug it to a USB 5V, 1A charger. If the charger is 5V/1A, the speaker can work at about 50% volume. If the charger is 5V/2A, the speaker can play at about 75% of volume while charging. If the charger is 5V/3A the speaker can play at about 90% volume while charging. During the charging process, the battery will gradually charge so the speaker can play at 100% volume after a complete charge. For faster charge a 5V, 3A supply is recommended

POWER/VOLUME

Turn clockwise to turn ON the unit and increase the volume. Turn counter- clockwise to turn OFF the unit and decrease the volume.

PREVIOUS/NEXT BUTTON
Under playing status, press PREVIOUS/NEXT button to get back to a previous or next song. In FM Mode use these button to change FM stations

PAUSE/PLAY BUTTON
To stop playing the current track, please press PAUSE/PLAY button on the control panel. Press it once again to continue playing.

MODE/LED ON
Press to toggle through the different Modes: BT/FM/AUX/USB. This button also works as the ON/OFF button for the LED Lights. Press and hold to activate and deactivate the LED Lights of the unit.

AUX.IN

1. Connect an audio 3.5mm TRS cable to the AUX input of the speaker and the other end to an external audio devices such as MP3 player, discman, record player, etc. Select LINE by pressing the MODE/LED ON button for audio playback

MIC.IN
Plug-in a 6.35mm (TS/TRS) microphone cable directly for to the input. This connection is for microphone only.

USBJACK
Insert a USB flashdrive in the port for music playback. The unit will only reproduce .mp3 music files

CONTROL PANEL

1. DISPLAY: The Screen will display Mode information.
2. POWERNOLUM E : Turn clockwise to turn ON the unit and increase the volume. Turn counter-clockwise to turn OFF the unit and decrease the volume.
3. MIC.IN: Insert a 6.35mm (TS/TRS) audio microphone cable.
4. USB: Insert a USB drive with .mp3 content for music playback.
5. AUX.IN: Insert and external audio device using a 3.5mm (TRS) audio cable.
6. PREV: Select previous track or FM station.
7. TWS: Play and Pause current track. In FM Mode press to auto scan stations. TWS sync button.
8. NEXT: Select next track or FM station.
9. MODE/LED ON: Press to toggle through modes: BT/FM/AUX/USB. Press and hold to activate and deactivate LED Lights.
10. DC Input: Charge the unit using a 5V, 1A(min) power supply.

13. LIGHT OFF = Fully Charged

TWS CONNECTION

TWS connection: TWS Connection is only for two speakers of the same make and model.

1. Turn ON the units and Enable Bluetooth mode on both speakers using the MODE button.
2. Press and hold the Play/Pause/TWS button on both of the speakers until the display screen reads “ON”.
3. On your mobile device under the Bluetooth settings, search for BT-84 and connect.
4. Open your favorite music app and enjoy True Wireless Stereo.
5. To Exit TWS press and hold the Play/Pause/TWS button
