Product Information

The product is called TILLRA and it is a mixer used for controlling the flow and temperature of water in a property. It is designed to be connected to the property’s pipe system and can be used in bathrooms or kitchens.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Before fitting the mixer, make sure to turn off the water supply.

2. Flush the pipes through to remove any foreign particles that could cause malfunctions in the mixer.

3. It is recommended to hire a professional tradesman to fit the mixer and connect it to the property’s pipe system.

4. Loosen the compression nipple/nut and carefully retighten it to prevent stress corrosion cracking. Verify that the cone is tightly fastened.

5. Once the mixer is installed, check all connections to ensure they are secure. Tighten if necessary.

6. If the tap drips even when it is turned off, the insert needs to be replaced.

   • To replace the insert, refer to the instruction manual for detailed steps.

7. If the jet of water is uneven or weak, unscrew the flow straightener in the pipe and remove the small plastic insert.

   • Soak the plastic insert in a solution of one part vinegar to three parts warm water for at least an hour.

8. To remove limescale stains, use a solution of one part vinegar to three parts warm water.

   • Do not use chemical cleaning agents, acid-based or other
     aggressive solutions, nor steel wool or similar products.

9. To prevent freezing during winter, drain the mixer of water completely.

   • Leaving water in the mixer can damage the insert.
