6 – STEP SETUP GUIDE

  • Step 1: Find the AC power cord to the PBX-311 located on the back panel of the unit.
  • Step 2: Find a power outlet (AC 120V /60Hz) and connect the AC cord to the socket to supply the unit with power.
  • Step 3: Move to the top of part of the panel and press and hold the POWER INPUT button. The unit should turn on and begin charging.
  • Step 4: Insert a USB flash drive in the USB port located below the big knob. The PBX-311 will automatically begin playing the .mp3 content.
  • Step 5: Use the Big Knob to adjust the Master Volume to your taste. Press the Big Knob to enter sub menus sucas as EQ, Mic Vol, Guitar VOL, Echo, etc.
  • Step 6: Press the Forward and Rewind keys to move to the next track or prevous track. If in FM mode, these keys will change radio sation.

BLUETOOTH
Bluetooth Mode: Use the MODE button to enable Bluetooth on the PBX-311. Open the Bluetooth settings on your mobile device and search for QFX PBX-311. Select the option to pair both devices together. You can now sit back and enjoy the music from your favorite app. You won’t need reconnect the Bluetooth again when switching through modes.

FM RADIO:
FM Radio: Frequency-Modulated stations operate in a frequency band extending from 87.8 MHz to 108 MHz. Use the MODE button to select the FM mode. In FM mode, press the Play/Pause button to scan available frequencies in the area. Extend the telescoping antenna to enhance reception.

TWS CONNECTION:
TWS Wireless Bluetooth Connection: Enable Bluetooth mode on both speakers. Press the TWS button for 3 seconds, on one of the speakers, to sync both units (they must be the same make and model to function). On your mobile device under the Bluetooth menu, search for PBX-311 and connect. Open your favorite music app and enjoy True Wireless Stereo. To Exit TWS press and hold the TWS button.

  1. Electric Power Supply Line: Keep the power cord safe from being trampled on,
    pressed on by heavy objects, or pierced. Make sure that the cord has ample space to rest on the ground and is not stressed. DO NOT pull or drag or the power supply line.

  2. Ventilation: This unit must be set in a ventilated space. DO NOT cover the vents on the back panel for any reason. If placed alongside a wall, distance the unit a minimum of 10cm to allow air
    flow. DO NOT surface that might restricted good air flow.

  3. Dismantling: DO NOT dismantle or open the unit. This is a high-powered unit that can cause serious harm if tampered with. DO NOT Open.

  4. Smoke: Please unplug the power supplies cord from the wall outlet immediately if unusual smoke appears and contact customer support

  • Stand By: Enable standby mode.
  • LED: Select light modes.
  • Mute: Mute the Volume
  • EQ: Toggle through EQ presets (Pop, Jazz, Rock, Classical).
  • Voice: Change Voice quality
  • Mic.PR: Microphone Priority over music playback.
  • Input: Toggle through input modes, USB/LINE/BT/FM RADIO
  • Rewind: Select previous track or FM channel
  • Forward: Select next track or FM channel
  • Play/Pause: Play or Pause current track
  • VOL+: Increase the master volume
  • VOL-: Decrease the master volume

TWS connection: TWS Connection is only for two
speakers of the same make and model.

  1. Enable Bluetooth mode on both speakers.
  2. Press the TWS button on one of the speakers to sync both units together (they must be the same make and model to function).
  3. On your mobile device under the Bluetooth menu, search for PBX-311 and connect.
  4. Open your favorite music app and enjoy True Wireless Stereo.
  5. To Exit TWS press and hold the TWS button.

BASIC OPERATION

  1. Display: Mode Information displayed.
  2. POWER INPUT: Turn on the unit. Select the input mode.
  3. TWS: Press for TWS sync.
  4. Light: Select LED light modes
  5. LINE IN: Insert an 3.5mm (TRS) from an external audio device for playback.
  6. MIC: Insert a 6.35mm (TS or TRS) microphone cable.
  7. AC POWER: 100-240V, 60/50Hz
  8. GUITAR: Insert a 6.35 (TS) instrument cable.
  9. Charge Status: Battery status.
    • RED = Charging
    • GREEN = Full.
  10. USB: Insert an USB to playback .mp3 music.
  11. Forward: Next track or FM station.
  12. Play/Pause/TWS: Play or Pause current track. Ppess and hold for TWS sync.
  13. Rewind: Previous track or FM station.

BASIC OPERATION

  1. POWER/INPUT: Press and hold POWER/INPUT button for about 3 seconds to power ON the unit. Press and hold the POWER/INPUT button for about 3 seconds to turn OFF the unit. During working state, press the POWER/INPUT button to select the modes. The sequence is USB (when USB device is connected), LINE, BT, FM.
  2. Big Knob: Turn the “Big Knob” to increase and decrease the volume. Press the “Big Knob” to enter the Bass and Treble volume settings.
  3. PREVIOUS/NEXT: Press to switch the song and or radio station in FM Mode.
  4. PLAY/PAUSE: Play or Pause the current track. During FM state, press PLAY/ PAUSE to automatically search radio and save.
  5. Light The unit has LED light brightness adjust function, press LIGHT to choose the effect desired.
  6. USB: Playback .mp3 Music for and external USB flash drive.

SPEAKER PRO APP

To control the device via your phone, please download and install the app ” Speaker Pro “. Open the App “Speaker Pro” on your phone and choose from the 7 settings page:

  1. Bluetooth Music Play: Music app playback
  2. USB: USB mp3 Playback
  3. Light: Adjust LED light settings
  4. FM Radio: Select Stations
  5. Bluetooth: Select Bluetooth device
  6. Line: mute
  7. Sound: Equalize music

Bluetooth Music play

Press to enter into the Bluetooth Music play page. Press “Pick songs to play” to choose the song you want to play from your music app. Press “Done” to return to the Bluetooth Music play page. You can use the controllers on the app to navigate.
USB
When inserting a USB into the speaker, press to enter the USB Card play page. To choose a song and play music on the USB card, press “Play”. Use the bottom functions to operate pause, play, backward, forward & volume adjustments. Press “List” to return to the USB list page. Press “Back” to return to the main page.
Light control colours, brightness and colour change mode Press to enter into Light Control page. You can choose a color from the wheel or a color mode to custom­ize your LED light. To go back to main page, press “<” in the left corner. FM Radio:

Press to enter into FM radio mode. Press SCAN to automatically scan stations.
Press for radio manual station scan, Top and bottom for Trimming. Turn the TUNER button to sweep through stations. Radio frequency between 87.SMHz-108.0MHz.
Bluetooth connection
Press to enter into Bluetooth Control connection page, then click PBX-311 to connect to the speaker.
Line: – mute.
Press to enter the Line input page. Press to mute music, press to unmute playback. Press “Back” to main page.
Equalizer regulation
Press to enter the Sound page.
Press MUSIC to adjust the volume, bass and treble on the speaker. There are 4 pre-set EQ modes to choose from: Pop, Classical, Jazz or Rock. You can also press G-EQ to access the graphic equalizer to set up your preferred equalizer specification.

FM OPERATION
Press the Power/Input button to switch to FM mode, Press the PLAY/PAUSE
button to automatically scan radio station. By pressing PREVIOUS or NEXT you can select a previous or next station. Press 0-9 from remote to choose the FM stored station.
BLUETOOTH
Press the POWER/INPUT button on the back panel to select Bluetooth mode. Simultaneously open the Bluetooth setting on your phone, tablet, or mobile device and and select PBX-311 . The unit and device will then connect via Bluetooth. To control the device via your phone, tablet etc. please download the App “Speaker Pro”. Once the unit and device are connected via Bluetooth, open the “Speaker Pro” App on your mobile device and press the Bluetooth button. This will enable you to control the following five modes: Music, Light, USB Card, Bluetooth and Equalizer. To cancel the app, press the exit button.

LIMITED PRODUCT WARRANTY POLICY

Before returning your Product for service under this Warranty, please (i) read the instruction manual carefully and vistt our website at www.qfxusa.com for Product updates and extended support documentation (e.g., Common Troubleshooting Guides); (ii) if you are still having trouble with your Product, please contact the QFX customer Support Department.

Subject to the terms and conditions herein, QFX, Inc. (herein after called “QFX”) warrants to the original purchaser of the Product (“Customer”) that for the applicable Warranty Period listed below, the Product will be free from defects in material or workmanship under normal, non-rommercial use (“Defects”).

Warranty Period encompasses, as listed below, separate “Coverage Periodsu for Parts and Labor, each Coverage Period to begin from the original date of customer purchase. If Customer returns a defective Product (or any component thereof) during the applicable Warranty Period, QFX will, at its option, during the specified Coverage Periods for Parts and Labor (as applicable etther: (i) repair the Product (or, as applicable, any component thereof) or (ii) replace the Product (or, as applicable, any component thereof) wtth a new or refurbished Product (or, as applicable, any component thereof), in etther case free of charge to Customer for Parts and/or Labor (as applicable) during the specified Coverage Period only, and excluding applicable shipping charges (noted below), for which the Customer is responsible. The foregoing states the Customer’s exclusive remecly and QFX sole liability for breach of the limited warranty contained herein.

This warranty covers only nonnal use. This warranty is not transferable. QFX is not responsible for warranty replacement should the QFX label or logo be removed or should the product fail to be properly maintained or fail to function properly as a result of misuse, abuse, immersion in liquids, improper installation, improper shipping, damage caused by disasters such as fire, flood, or service other than by QFX. In addition, this warranty excludes any Product (or, as applicable, any component thereof) that has been subject to or Defects resulting from: (a) any neglect or misuse by a Customer, an accident, improper application, violation of operating instructions for the Product, any other Customer-induced damage, or the alteration or removal of any Product serial number; (b) any modification or repair to Product (or, as applicable, any component thereof) by any party other than QFX or a party authorized in writing by QFX; (c) any damage to Product (or, as applicable, any component thereof) due to power surges, incorrect electrical voltage, misconnection to any device, or malfunction of any device used with the Product (or, as applicable, any component thereof); (d) cosmetic damage to the Product (or, as applicable, any component thereof) caused by normal wear and tear; (e) shipping damage that occurs while the Product is in transtt; (f) damage caused by heat sources, sunlight, electromagnetic conditions, or other climatic conditions or (g) any acts of God.

Product is sold to Customer for personal, non-commercial use only. Product is not warranted for Customer’s commercial or rental use. In addition, Product is not warranted against failure, and should not be used by Customer for any application where (i) there is a risk that any data stored on Product will be breached or otherwise compromised, or (ii) the date stored on Product is relied upon for medical or lifesaving applications. QFX disclaims any Warranty for any of the foregoing uses to the fullest extent permttted by law. Customer assumes any and all risks associated with such uses of Product, and agrees to indemnify QFX for any damages claimed against QFX for such uses.

EXCEPT FOR EXPRESS WARRANTIES STATED ABOVE AND TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMlffiD BY LAW, THE PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED ”f,S IS” AND QFX DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY (i) OF MERCHANTABIUlY, (ii) OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR (iii) OF NON- INFRINGEMENT OF THIRD PARTY RIGHTS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL QFX BE LIABLE TO CUSTOMER OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNfTIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY LOST PROFITS OR REVENUES, LOSS OR INACCURACY OF ANY DATA OR COST OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS, REGARDLESS OF THE THEDRY OF LIABILITY (INQUDING NEGLIGENCE) AND EVEN IF QFX HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, QFX AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO CUSTOMER FOR ACTUAL DIRECT DAMAGES FOR ANY CAUSE WHATSOEVER SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE CUMULATIVE PRODUCT FEES PAID BY THAT CUSTOMER FOR THE PRODUCTS CAUSING THE DAMAGES, IF ANY.

This Warranty gives customer specific rights, and Customer may also have other rights that vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. Warning: Some Products may contain components that are small enough to be swallowed. Please keep out of reach of children. In order for the return to be processed, you must send the Product PREPAID to the address below in the original packaging or reasonable substitute to prevent damage and include: (1) a dated sales receipt (which must have a purchase date that falls in the Warranty Period specified in the table below) that indicates the place of purchase, model number of Product, and amount paid, (2) a detailed description of customer’s problem wtth Product, (3) Customer’s full name, phone number, and return address, (3) all of the accessories that came wtth the Product package must be sent along wtth the main Product, (4) a cashier’s check or money order payable to QFX, Inc., in the amount specified for the item in the product table below for return shipping and handling. If in the case you cannot provide a money order or cashier’s check, you can contact The QFX Customer Support Representative to arrange payment via credtt card. No returned Product will be shipped back to a PO BOX. If a returned Product is found to have no problem and/or does not include ALL of the requirements indicated above, tt may be returned back to the customer and will not be processed.
