Product Information

The product is the CR 5034, a heater appliance. It has a manual control for heat load and comes with an integrated thermostat. The heater has a minimum power rating of 1.4 KW and a maximum power rating of 2.0 KW. It does not have any auxiliary electricity consumption. The heater does not have any standby mode functionality. It also does not have any additional control options such as adaptive start control.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Read the safety instructions and safe positioning carefullybefore using the heater to avoid any risk of fire or danger to lives.
  2. Read the operating instructions carefully before using the appliance for the first time.
  3. Keep the instructions, warranty, receipt, and the box with the internal packing for future reference.
  4. If you give the device to someone else, make sure to pass on the operating instructions as well.
  5. The appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above,\ as well as persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, provided they have been given supervision or instruction on using the appliance safely and understand the associated hazards.
  6. Children should never play with the appliance.
  7. Ensure that children are supervised to prevent them from playing with the appliance.
  8. Keep all packaging materials (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene, etc.) out of reach of children to ensure their safety.
  9. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be repaired by an Authorized Service Agent to avoid hazards.
  10. When unplugging the appliance, never pull on the cord.
  11. Do not use the unit if it has a damaged cord or plug, or if it shows any signs of malfunction.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must never play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must never be carried out by children without supervision.
  2. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
  3. WARNING: In order to ensure your children‘s safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.
  4. If the supply cord is damaged it must be repaired by the Authorized Service Agent in order to avoid hazards.
  5. Never pull on the cord when unplugging.
  6. Do not use the unit with a damaged cord or plug, or if it is not working properly.
  7. Do not handle the appliance with wet hands.
  8. Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
  9. Make sure the appliance has been unplugged before cleaning.
  10. This appliance must be installed following the national regulations for electrical installations.
  11. This appliance is for household use only.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:

  • The meaning of figure in marking is “DO NOT COVER”. WARNING: In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.
  • Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.
  • Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.
  • CAUTION: Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Particular attention has to be given where children and vulnerable people are present.
  • The device should not be placed immediately below a socket base.
  • Do not place a heater in use near curtains, furniture, wood panelling or combustible material which can deteriorate with heat.
  • Do not use this heater in the immediate vicinity of a bath, shower or pool.
  • Do not use the appliance in flammable atmospheres (e.g. in the vicinity of combustible gases or sprays cans)!Explosion and fire hazard!
  • Allow ample space around the heater. A safe area to be left free is 100 cm at the front and at the sides and 100 cm at the top.
  • Always unplugged the heater after use.
  • Important! Do not insert any foreign objects into the appliance openings! Risk of injury (electric shock) and damage to the appliance!
  • Keep the mains cord at a safe distance from the air inlet and outlet grilles.
  • Do not use this heater if it has been dropped.
  • Do not use if there are visible signs of damage to the heater.
  • Use this heating appliance on a horizontal and stable surface, or if possible fix it to a wall.
  • WARNING: Do not use this heater in rooms that are occupied by persons who cannot leave the room by themselves, unless permanent surveillance is provided.
  • WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, keep textiles, curtains, or other flammable material at least 1m away from the air outlet.

These instructions for use belong to the appliance and must be kept in a safe place. When changing owners, these instructions must be surrendered to the new owner!

ELEMENTS OF THE TOWER

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

  • When the appliance is plugged in, turn on the power switch on the back of the product. After hearing the “beep”, the digital display will show the room temperature, and the product will be in standby status at that time.
  • ON/OFF. Press the power button to select low heat mode, high heat mode, or off:
    • Press once and the blue light will come on (Low Heat Mode).
    • Press the second time and the red light will come on (High heat mode).
    • Press the third time, the product indicator light will be off in any working condition (except digital display). When entering off mode, the air fan will remain for 15 seconds, when the counter reaches 00 it will flash three times, a “beep” will be heard and the screen returns to showing the room temperature. The product returns to standby mode.
  • Press the “Swing” button to start swing mode.
  • With the “Timer” button you can start a sleep timer between 1 and 24 hours.
  • Select the desired temperature with the “Temp” button: set the temperature between 15 and 40 degrees. In this operating mode, press “ON/OFF” to return to manual mode.
  • Press and hold the temperature button and timer button at the same time for 3 seconds, the keypad will be locked. Press them again to unlock it.
  • Press and hold the “Swing” button to turn the lights off and press any key to turn them on again.

BASE INSTALLATION
Snap the two parts of the base together and slide the top part to the left as shown below:
Place the back of the unit on a stable SURFACE. The bottom of the case should stick out slightly from the edge of the table. Place the bracket at the bottom of the case. Four holes in the bottom of the case fit exactly into four holes in the bracket. Screw the bracket on by hand with the four supplied screws. Do not overtighten the screws!

Make sure the stand is straight and firmly attached to the case.
Now place the unit on its base.

CLEANING

We recommend that you clean the heater at least twice a year to remove accumulated dust and dirt.

  • Unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet.
  • Wait for the heater to cool down sufficiently.
  • You can clean the outside of the heater with a damp cloth or brush. Do not use water or allow water to enter the appliance. Do not use abrasive detergents or caustic cleaners!
  • Do not touch the heater while you are in contact with the water. It is deadly dangerous!
  • Clean the air inlet and outlet grills regularly with a vacuum cleaner, using the brush accessory.

STORAGE

  • Save the original box in which the heater was packed for storage during the warm months when it is not in use.
  • Clean the heater following the instructions included in the previous section. Pack the heater in its original box and store it in a cool, dry place.

DISPOSAL OF OLD ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES

The European directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), requires that old household electrical appliances must not be disposed of in the normal unsorted municipal waste stream. Old appliances must be collected separately in order to optimize the recovery and recycling of the materials they contain, and reduce the impact on human health and the environment. The crossed-out “wheeled bin” symbol on the product reminds you of your obligation, that when you dispose of the appliance, it must be separately collected. Consumers should contact their local authority or retailer for information concerning the correct disposal of their old appliances.
