Product Usage Instructions
Facility
Trunnion Mounting
- Mount the luminaire to the surface using the hole pattern provided on the trunnion bracket.
- Loosen but do not remove the (2) center bolts and (1) set screw.
- Rotate the luminaire to the desired aiming position and tighten the center bolts to 10 ft-lbs.
- Tighten the set screw to 30 in-lbs.
- Refer to the wiring diagrams for power connection. (Figure 4.)
Slipfitter Mounting
- The fixture is pre-set at a 45-degree tilt. If angle adjustment is required, please proceed to step 2. Otherwise, skip to step 5.
- Remove the (2) cover plate screws and cover plate with a #2 Philips screwdriver.
- To change the fixture tilt angle, loosen the center bolt, rotate the fixture to the desired angle, and tighten the center bolt to 30 ft-lbs.
- Replace the cover plate and tighten the cover plate screws with a #2 Philips screwdriver to 15 in-lbs.
- Make wiring connections per the wiring diagram and place connections down into the pole or mounting bracket. (Figure 4.)
- Loosen the (3) set screws and slide the slipfitter onto the pole or mounting bracket.
- Position the luminaire in the desired direction and tighten the (3) set screws to 10 ft-lbs.
- Tighten the lock nuts to 15 ft-lbs.
Yoke Mount
- Mount the luminaire to the surface using the hole pattern provided on the yoke. (Hardware recommended: 1/2 diameter bolt x 1-1/2 long. Supplied by others)
- Loosen but do not remove the (2) center bolts. (Figure 3.)
- Rotate the luminaire to the desired aiming position and tighten the center bolts to 75 ft-lbs.
- Refer to the wiring diagrams for power connection. (Figure 4.)
Note: The orientation procedure is only required for photocontrols which specifically require the cell to be aimed north. Otherwise, the pre-selected factory orientation will function properly. Follow the directions recommended by the photocontrol supplier for proximity to light sources. Lighted signs, building surface reflection, floodlights, tree branches, etc. may affect the final position of the photocontrol.

- Do not mount luminaire within 6” of a combustible surface.
- Do not handle luminaire by the glass. Do not touch LEDs.

IMPORTANT: Read carefully before installing fixture. Retain for future reference.
General
Upon receipt of the fixture, thoroughly inspect for any freight damage which should be brought to the attention of the delivery carrier. Compare the catalog description listed on the packing slip with the fixture label on the housing to assure you have received the correct material.
Safety: This fixture must be wired in accordance with the National Electrical Code and applicable local codes and ordinances. Proper grounding is required to insure personal safety. Carefully observe grounding procedure under installation section.
APPLICATIONS: This lighting fixture is designed for outdoor lighting services, and should not be used in area of limited ventilation or inside high ambient temperature enclosures. It must be stored in a dry location prior to installation. Do not expose lighting fixture to rain, dust or other environmental conditions prior to installation and insertion of photo control or shorting cap (if so equipped). Do not install the fixture near combustible materials or locate next to airflow blocking surfaces within 6 inches. Best results will be obtained if installed and maintained according to the following recommendations.
INSTALLATION
Tools Required
- Ratchet, 3/4″ socket, 3/8″ square nut driver, 9/16″ wrench, and #2 Philips screwdriver.
Trunnion Mounting (Figure 1.)
- Mount luminaire to surface using the hole pattern provided on the trunnion bracket.
- Loosen but do not remove (2) center bolts and (1) set screw.
- Rotate luminaire to desired aiming position and tighten center bolts to 10ft-lbs.
- Tighten set screw to 30 in-lbs.
- Refer to wiring diagrams for power connection. (Figure 4.)
Slipfitter Mounting (Figure 2.)

- Loosen (3) set screws and slide the slipfitter onto pole or mounting bracket.
- Position luminaire into the desired direction; and tighten (3) set screws to 10 ft-lbs.
- Tighten lock nuts to 15 ft-lbs.

Tools Required
- Torque wrench (ft-lbs) and 3/4” socket.
- Mount luminaire to surface using the hole pattern provided on the yoke.
- Note: Hardware recommended 1/2” diameter bolt x 1-1/2” long. (Supplied by others)
- Loosen but do not remove (2) center bolts. (Figure 3.)
- Rotate luminaire to desired aiming position and tighten center bolts to 75 ft-lbs.
- Refer to wiring diagrams for power connection. (Figure 4.)
Photocontrol –If Equipped (Figure 5.)

- Using a flat blade screw driver, loosen the two flathead screws to allow rotation of the receptacle.
- Insert screwdriver into center slot and rotate receptacle until arrow points north or desired direction.
- Retighten screws.
- Insert the photoelectric control (or shorting cap) into receptacle and twist into locked position.
- Note: The photocontrol (not included) must contain a soft, resilient gasket fastened to the bottom surface to assure a proper weather seal between the control and the receptacle.
Wire Guard (Figure 6.)
Tools Required
- Phillips screwdriver
- Loosen and remove the existing (4) 10-24 Philips headscrews on the face of the fixture and retain for future reference.
- Align wire guard on top of lens clips matching the four existing holes. (Figure 6.)
- Retighten (4) 10-24 Philips head screws from step 1 to the face of the fixture.
- To remove wire guard follow steps 1-3 in reverse order.
Vandal Shield (Figure 7.)
Tools Required
- Phillips screwdriver
- Loosen and remove the existing (4) 10-24 Philips head screws on the face of the fixture.
- Align (4) 7/8” spacers with existing holes.
- Use (4) 10-24 x 1-1/2” screws to secure vandal shield on top of fixture. (Figure 7.)
- To remove vandal shield follow steps 1-3 in reverse order.
Visor (Figure 8.)
Tools Required
- Phillips screwdriver
- Loosen and remove the existing (4) 10-24 Philips head screws on the face of the fixture and retain for future reference.
- Align visor on top of lens clips matching the 4 existing holes. (Figure 8.)
- Retighten (4) 10-24 Philips head screws from step 2 to the face of the fixture.
- To remove visor follow steps 1-3 in reverse order.
