FIXTURE INSTALLATION

  1. Attach the MOUNTING PLATE (A) onto the junction box using the MOUNTING SCREWS (B). This fixture is designed to be mounted on heavy duty junction box rated for a minimum 90lbs. The junction box must be securely mounted to the structure of the building.
  2. Remove the SCREW COLLAR (1) from the COLLAR LOOP (H). Fully thread the NIPPLE (C) onto the COLLAR LOOP (H). Thread the HEX NUT (E) onto the NIPPLE (C) along with TOOTH WASHER (D). Then thread the NIPPLE (C) unto the MOUNTING PLATE (A). Adiust the NIPPLE (C) so that the threads of the COLLAR LOOP (H) extends 1/4″ beyond the CANOPY (J). Secure using HEX NUT (E).
  3. Open the end link the of the CHAIN (K) and attach to the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (L) at the desired height. Slide the SCREW COLLAR (I) and the CANOPY (J) onto the CHAIN (K). Open the link on other end of the CHAIN (K) then attach unto the COLLAR LOOP (H). Feed the wires through the CHAIN (K), SCREW COLLAR (I), CANOPY (J), COLLAR LOOP (H), NIPPLE (C), and MOUNTING PLATE (A).
  4. Cut off excess wires, and strip the insulation off the end of the leads.
  5. Attach the Ground wire to the ground inside the junction box (Generally green or bare copper wire) or the GROUND SCREW (F) on the MOUNTING PLATE (A). NEVER CONNECT GROUND WIRE TO “HOT” WIRE! FAILURE TO FOLLOW THIS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH!
  6. Connect the fixture’s SPT Neutral (SP WIRE WITH NO WRITINGS) wire lead to the neutral (Generally white) wire in the outlet box. Fasten the wires together with an approved fastener (WIRE NUT) (G). Starting 1″ below the fastener, tightly wrap the connection with electrical tape so that the connections seals the end of the fastener. MAKE SURE THERE ARE NO EXPOSED WIRE OF STRANDS THAT COULD CAUSE A DANGEROUS SHORT CIRCUIT!
  7. Connect the fixture’s SPT hot (SPT WITH WRITNGS) wire lead to the hot (Generally black) wire in the junction box. Fasten the joined wires same as previous step. NEVER REVERSE HOT AND NEUTRAL WIRES. FAILURE TO FOLLOW THIS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH!
  8. Push the wires back into the junction box. Lift up the CANOPY (J) up to the ceiling, and screw the SCREW COLLAR (I) onto the COLLAR LOOP (H).
  9. Screw the BULB (M) into the SOCKET of the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (L). THIS FIXTURE IS RATED FOR 60 WATT TYPE B LAMP. DO NOT EXCEED THE RECOMMENDED WATTAGE!
  10. Aftach the GLASS to the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (L). (See the GLASS SCHEDULE PAGE)
  11. Restore power to the ouflet at the breaker or fuse box.
