Product Information

The Haunted Living Swing Twins is a 5.5-foot animated swinging decoration designed for creating a spooky atmosphere. It is a  trademark of LF, LLC. The item number is 5267905, and the model number is 60708. The package includes the swing, bodies, control box, and four AA alkaline batteries. The swing twins are powered by batteries and can be activated with a loud sound (clap).

Product Usage Instructions

Battery Instructions

1. Contains (4) AA 1.5-volt alkaline batteries. Batteries are not rechargeable.
2. Battery installation and removal should be performed by an adult. Batteries are harmful if swallowed.

Preparation

• Before beginning assembly, ensure all parts are present. Compare parts with the package contents list and hardware contents list. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble the product.
• No tools are required for assembly.
• Estimated Assembly Time: 4 minutes.

Assembly Instructions

1. Unfold the metal wires attached to the top of both ropes and straighten them.
2. Insert four fresh AA alkaline batteries into the battery compartment located on the control box.
3. Place the foam pad against the mounting object and wrap the hook and loop fastener over the top of the mounting object, pulling it through the metal loop in front of the control box. Attach it to the hook and loop fastener strip on the back side of the control box below the battery cover. Ensure the hook and loop fastener is tight for proper swinging motion.

Operating Instructions

1. Move the switch to the ON position. Make a loud sound (clap) to activate the swing twins.
2. Turn the switch to the OFF position when not in use.

Optional Demo Set Up

(Footpad/push button not included. Must be purchased separately)

1. Insert the cable from the optional footpad/push button into the jack labeled “TRY ME” on the control box.
2. Place the switch in the “TRY ME” position to enable try me activation.
3. Step on the footpad or press the push button to activate the scary sequence.
4. Footpads and push buttons are sold separately and can be purchased at www.tekkyaccessories.com.

BATTERY INSTRUCTIONS

1. Contains (4) AA 1.5-volt alkaline batteries. Batteries are not rechargeable.
2. Battery installation and removal should be performed by an adult. Batteries are harmful if swallowed. Keep away from young children.
3. Remove batteries when not in use.
4. Use only batteries recommended in the instructions.
5. Do not mix new and used batteries.
6. Do not mix alkaline, carbon-zinc, nickel-cadmium, rechargeable or different types of batteries.
7. Be mindful to insert batteries with the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated.
8. Remove all exhausted batteries.
9. Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
10. Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the item before being charged.
11. Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
12. The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
13. Always dispose of exhausted batteries properly.
14. DO NOT dispose of batteries in fire, they may leak or explode.

ADULT ASSEMBLY REQUIRED

1. Unfold metal wires attached to the top of both ropes.

2. Insert 4 fresh AA alkaline batteries (recommended) into the battery compartment located on the control box.

3. Place FOAM PAD up against mounting object.
   Wrap HOOK AND LOOP FASTENER over the top of the MOUNTING OBJECT. (green arrows) Pull the hook and loop through the METAL LOOP in front of the CONTROL BOX, back over the MOUNTING OBJECT, (red arrows) and attach to the HOOK AND LOOP FASTENER strip on the back side of the CONTROL BOX located below the battery cover.
   IMPORTANT: Pull HOOK AND LOOP FASTENER tight so the control box is very tightly secured to the mounting object or swinging motion will not function.

4. Move the switch to the ON position. Make a loud sound (clap) to activate the item.
   Turn the switch to the OFF position when not in use.

OPTIONAL DEMO SET UP
FOOTPAD/PUSH BUTTON IS NOT INCLUDED. MUST BE PURCHASED SEPARATELY.

1. Insert the cable from optional footpad/push button into the jack labeled TRY ME on the CONTROL BOX.
2. Place the switch in the TRY ME position to enable TRY ME activation.
3. Step on the FOOTPAD or press push button to activate the scary sequence!

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

• STORE IN A COOL AND DRY ENVIRONMENT.
• IN INCLEMENT WEATHER BRING ITEM INDOORS.
• SURFACE WASHABLE ONLY. DO NOT USE ANY HARSH OR ABRASIVE CLEANING AGENTS.
• REMOVE BATTERIES WHEN STORING ITEM FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME.

TROUBLESHOOTING

• Switch on control box is not in the ON position.
• Batteries are not inserted correctly.

• Move switch to ON position.
• Install batteries with positive and negative terminals in the correct positions.

Item is not swinging. Item swinging has slowed down.|

• Hook and loop fastener is loose.
• Battery power is low.

• Pull the hook and loop fastener tight over the mounting object.
• Replace old batteries with 4 fresh AA alkaline batteries.
