GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

PLEASE, TAKE TIME TO READ WELL THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE PARTICULARLY BEFORE THE FIRST USE.

A misuse of the appliance can damage it or hurt the user. Assure that you use the appliance for the use for which it is designed; we refuse any responsibilities as for the  damages by an incorrect use or a bad manipulation.

  1. Before use check that the voltage of your wall outlet correspond to the rated voltage manner.

  2. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard (*).

  3. Note when unpacking the appliance: DANGER for children. Danger to life through suffocation!

  4. To prevent a life-threatening electrical shock:

  5. Do not use this appliance nearby water!

  6. WARNING: Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing water.

  7. Burn hazard. Keep appliance out of reach from young children, particularly during use and cool down;

  8. When the appliance is connected to the power supply, never leave it unattended;

  9. always place the appliance with the stand, if any, on a heat-resistant, stable flat surface.

  10. When the hair straightener is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use since the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the hair straightener is switched off.

  11. Never immerse the appliance in water or in any other liquids.

  12. Do not use the appliance while taking a bath.

  13. Water and other liquids represent a danger. If the appliance falls into water, pull out the main plug immediately.

  14. Pull the mains plug from the socket:
    • When a disturbance occurs.
    • Before you clean the appliance.
    • If you will not be using the appliance for a longer period.
    • After each use.

  15. For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA is advisable in the electrical  circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask your installer for advice.

  16. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
    knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

  17. Children shall not play with the appliance.

  18. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

  19. Make sure that the cable is not pinched in cupboard doors or pulled over hot surfaces.
    Otherwise the cable insulation may become damaged.

  20. The cable must not be twisted, pulled, kinked or wound around the dryer. If the cable is twisted, untwist it before use.

  21. Before use check the cable for damages.

  22. Regularly check the appliance and above all the cable for defective and porous locations.

  23. To avoid breaks never wind the cable around the appliance.

  24. Watch out that the plug never contacts hot parts of the appliance.

  25. Only use the appliance when the appliance, cable and plug show no sign of damage. Never use a defective appliance.

  26. Never try to repair a defective appliance yourself.

  27. Danger of burning! Plates warm very fast, do not touch them. Hold them distant from your skin. Let cool them after use.

  28. Do not leave unsupervised device when you do not use it.

  29. Insert no object into the appliance.

  30. This appliance is reserved for a domestic use.
    Any other use (professional, commercial, etc.) is excluded.

  31. Danger of fire due to high temperatures. Do not use on artificial hair or capillary extensions.

  32. Danger of death due to electrical shock!
    Never touch hair straightener with wet hands when connecting it to the electrical mains or during mains operation!
    Withdraw the mains plug from the socket before you clean the appliance.

  33. Overheat protection!
    If the appliance overheat switch off entirely and let it cool for about 6 to 15 minutes. Once cooled down, the appliance can be used again.

  34. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
    • staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments
    • farm houses
    • by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments
    • bed and breakfast type environments

(*) Competent qualified electrician: after sales department of the producer or importer or any person who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of  repairs in order to avoid all danger. In any case you should return the appliance to this electrician.

WARNING
The following should be noted to ensure trouble-free operation:
Only operate the appliance according to the details on the nameplate. Do not subject the appliance to temperatures below 10 and above 25 .
Thoroughly clean the appliance after each use.
Allow the appliance to run for approx.3-5 minutes before using it for the first time. During this time a slight odor may arise due to the manufacturing process. This is  harmless and only occurs when first used.

CLEANING AND CARE

  1. Unplug the multistyler, and let it cool down.
  2. Clean the various parts of the device with a damp cloth.
  3. Never use solvents or abrasive products.
  4. Never immerse the unit in water to clean it.
  5. The tips must be dry before use.
  6. Do not replace damaged parts yourself.

Before use, make sure your mutlistyler is clean.
Your hair must be clean, dry and detangled.
We recommend that you define your hair type before use and do a test on a strand.

USE

  1. Choose the tip you want to use when the unit is cold and not plugged in. Either for curls or for straight hair. Place the irons in the handle, and push it until you hear a  “CLICK”. The multistyler will be ready for use and will be locked.

  2. Plug in the device and press the on/off button. Then the device preheats and reaches its maximum temperature of 165°C. You can adjust the temperature by pressing  twice for 185°C and 3 times for 205°C. The device will be ready in 45 seconds.

  3. After a few minutes, you can start straightening or curling your hair: a few centimeters from your roots, place a strand of hair between the ceramic plates and let the  straightener slide to the end of your strand without stopping. For curls, carefully wrap a strand of hair around the cylindrical nozzle. Be careful not to get your fingers too close to the hot nozzle.
    Note: Keep distance of 30-50mm between roots and appliance.

  4. After use, press switch button, let the appliance cool down and lock the plates thanks to the button side before storing.

  5. To remove the mouthpiece, wait until the unit is completely cool. Then press the safety button on the back and pull the nozzle out of the handle.

Note:
The appliance becomes very hot during the use, you have to hold it distant from your skin to avoid any burn.

The European Directive 2012/19/EU Hair straightener on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), requires that old household electrical appliances must not  be disposed of in the normal household waste stream.
Old appliances must be collected separately in order to optimize the recovery and recycling of the materials they contain and reduce the impact on human health and the  environment.
The symbol of the crossed out dustbin is marked on all products to remind the obligations of separate collection.
Consumers should contact their local authority or retailer for information concerning the correct disposal of their product.
