Remote Control Overview

OPERATING THE REMOTE

PROGRAMMING MEMORY M1 and M2

To save to M1 – Press & hold the “M1” button until the backlight flashes 3 times (approx. 5 seconds).
To save to M2 – Press & hold the “M2” button until the backlight flashes 3 times (approx. 5 seconds).

CHILD LOCK FUNCTION

TO ACTIVATE

Press & hold raise/lower head button simultaneously until the backlight flashes 3 times (approx. 5 seconds). Once the child safety lock is activated all buttons will be inoperable and if pushed the backlight will flash twice.

TO DEACTIVATE

Press & hold the raise/lower foot button simultaneously until the backlight flashes 2 times. Keep holding until the backlight flashes another 3 times. The child lock is now deactivated.

SYSTEM RESET

Press & hold the ”ZeroG” + ”FLAT” simultaneously until the backlight flashes 3 times. All functions are reset to factory settings.

SYNCHRONIZING TWO BASES SO THEY OPERATE IN TANDEM

NOTE

• TWO BASES OPERATING IN TANDEM REQUIRE A STANDARD SIZED NORTH AMERICAN KING SIZE MATTRESS.
• BEFORE SYNCHING THE REMOTE PLEASE ASSEMBLE THE SYNC FASTENER AND SYNC CABLE (SEE P. 4)
• WITH THE BASES LINKED TOGETHER DO NOT OPERATE ANY FUNCITON ON THE REMOTE UNTIL IT HAS BEEN SYNCED OR RISK DAMAGING THE BASES

SYNC ON
Press & Hold ”FLAT” until the backlight flashes 3 times (approx. 5 seconds)

SYNC OFF
Press & Hold ”FLAT” until the backlight flashes 3 times (approx. 5 seconds)

INSTALLATION OF SYNC FASTENER AND SYNC CABLE

1. DISCONNECT THE POWER FROM WALL OUTLET.

2. Align the two bases side by side. Near the center of the head of the bed, loosen both legs from the metal frames.

3. Fit the sync fastener onto both exposed leg bolts (between the legs and the base’s frame). Retighten legs.

4. Use the remaining fastener to do the same at the foot of the bed.
   
   NOTE: COMPELTE STEPS 5-7 ONLY WHEN A STANDARD NORTH AMERICAN KING-SIZED MATTRESS IS USED

5. Connect the sync cable to the port of each Y – cable
   

6. Reconnect the power to the wall outlet.

7. Follow the steps to synchronize the two bases using the remote (see p. 3) .

Remote Control Pairing

The remote control and base are paired before leaving the manufacturer. If the remote is not working first verify if the batteries are good. If they are good, then you need to pair the remote control and the base again.

STEPS TO PAIR

1. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet, ensuring the power light goes out.
   

2. Re-plug the power immediately pressing and holding ” ” & ” ” simultaneously.
   

3. The remote backlight flashes to indicate it is pairing. Pairing is completed once the flashing stops.
   

Troubleshooting

DO NOT OPEN OR ATTEMPT TO REPAIR ANY ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS
ENSURE THE BASE IS UNPLUGGED WHEN VERIFYING CABLES AND CONNECTIONS
THE BASE HAS MOVING PARTS, TAKE CAUTION TO AVOID FINGER PINCH AND/OR CRUSHING INJUR

1. Verify if child lock function is activated.
2. Verify if all electrical connections are securely fastened.
3. Verify that the wall outlet has power.
4. Ensure there is nothing under or near the bed that may impede its movement.
5. Verify if the battery in the remote is good.
6. Attempt a system reset (see p. 3).
7. Re-pair the remote (see p. 5).

A ‘click’ sound is heard under the adjustable bed when raising or lowering the head section.| The motor makes a clicking sound when in operation. This is normal. No action is required.
The adjustable bed squeaks.| Lubricate all fittings.
Zero Gravity, M1, and/or M2 buttons don’t work.| Press and hold the FLAT button until the bed is fully flat. Then try again.
