A4 THERMAL LAMINATOR
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

UTILITY
The device laminates both cold and thermal pouches. It provides best
lamination for thermal pouches up to A4 size ranging from 75mic to 125mic in
thickness. To get a better lamination performance, the suitable room
temperature is 18°C~25°C (namely 65°F~77°F).
OPERATION
POWER ON and OFF
Connect the plug to main power, press the rocker switch to turn on the
machine. The Power LED will turn Red. If you press the rocker switch to “Cold”
position, the machine is under cold lamination status. If you press the rocker
switch to “Hot” position, the machine is under hot lamination status for
thermal pouches.
To turn off the laminator, press the rocker switch back to the “Off” position
and the laminator will be shut off.
COLD LAMINATION
Please make sure that the machine is cool when you use it for cold
lamination. Do not use cold lamination if you have just finished a thermal
lamination. When the “Ready” LED turns on in green, put the paper into the
cold pouch, and insert it into the laminator the through the Lamination Entry.
THERMAL LAMINATION
If you press the rocker switch to “Hot” position, you will have to wait for
about 2 minutes until the Green “Ready” LED turns on. Then put the paper into
the pouch, and insert the pouch into the laminator through the Lamination
Entry. Always remember that the sealed edge should be inserted into the
laminator first.
Note:
- To get a flat lamination performance, we sincerely advise you to use a thick book to flatten the end edge of the pouch.
- During the lamination process, the “Ready” LED may go out. This will not influence your lamination job. Just continue your lamination without waiting for the “Ready” LED to light up again.
CLEAR THE JAMMED POUCH
This laminator is designed with creative anti-jamming structures. In case a
mis-feed occurs, just turn off the laminator, and then pull the pouch out by
hand. It is easy and effortless.
MAINTENANCE AND WARNING
- To clean or move around, make sure that the laminator is turned off.
- Do not laminate dirty pouches, clean them before lamination.
- Do not use the laminator in damp conditions.
- Do not laminate anything that is more than 0.6mm thick for best seal.
- Do not laminate heat sensitive paper.
- This laminator should only use power 220-240V/50Hz and be used indoors only.
- NEVER OPEN THE LAMINATOR WHILE IN USE.
GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Please read the instruction manual carefully and follow the following safety precautions. Keep the manual for future reference and available to every user of the device.

Ensure that the voltage indicated on the device matches the mains voltage before plugging in the appliance. If not, do not use the device.

Disconnect the device from the mains supply:
– shortly after use
– when not using the device
– before undertaking any cleaning task -
If any malfunction occurs, disconnect the supply cord from the mains immediately.

Do not touch the appliance with wet or damp hands.

If the device does get wet, immediately remove the power cord from the wall outlet and do not put your hands in the water. Never run the wet appliance.

Do not use or place the appliance and its parts or top or near any source of heat (hot gas or electric burner or heated oven) or where it may get wet.

Do not operate or place the device or parts in places of high humidity or where it may get wet.
WARNING:
- Do not submerge the appliance/cable/plug in water or any other liquid, to avoid electric shock.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
- This appliance is not a toy. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Never leave the device unattended (whether in use or not) in a place easily accessible by children.
- During operation, do not leave the device unattended.
- Do not use the appliance if it has fallen on the floor, if there are visible signs of damage or if it has a leak. Disconnect the cord from the supply immediately.
- If the cord/plug becomes damaged, the appliance malfunctions or becomes damaged, do not use the appliance.
- Never leave the power cable hanging from sharp table edges/benches or touching hot surfaces.
- Never leave the power cable tangled during operation. Untangle it immediately.
- If the appliance or accessories become damaged please refer to a qualified technician.

The «JUMBO SA TRADING COMPANY” (head office: Moshato Attiki, 9 Cyprus & Hydra) (hereinafter “The Company”) makes every effort to ensure its products meet the standards of suitability and safety of domestic and Community legislation.

On the new appliances sold through the stores of the Company, is provided warranty period of two (2) years from the date of purchase of the product, resulting from the purchase document (receipt or invoice).

In case of manufacturing fault, found on inspection by the authorised department of the Company during the scheduled procedures, the product will be replaced with the same or with another of the same specifications or refunded.

In any case, the consumer has all the rights provided by the regulations in force and more specifically the regulations of sale agreements.

The above warranty does not cover damage caused by:
• In incorrect, inappropriate or contrary to the product instructions, installation, use, maintenance or storage of the product.
• Voltage power drop, or in conditions of incorrect operation or product exposure to inappropriate and unsuitable environmental conditions.
• In natural events, accidental or force majeure events, external influences and interventions of all kinds of the buyer or a third part and / or non- specialized and authorized person.
• In normal use of the product due to intended use. -
The Company has no responsibility for any injury and / or property damage (direct or consequential) that may occur from damage or fault of the product caused by any of the above mentioned events.
