iTON F2 Smart Finder App
Important tips:
When pairing a device with Find My APP, the phone will link to the Apple
server. Pairing may fail because of network problems. The following action is
recommended: Change the phone’s network, such as switching between Wi-Fi and
mobile cellular.
Getting Started
Power On
Pull the plastic tab to enable battery contact, it should beep once indicating
it is powered on.
Check for upgrade
To better use Apple Find My APP to locate your item (s), please upgrade your
iOS or iPad OS to the latest version.
this device can only be used on iOS 14.5 or later version iPhone, or iPad OS
14.5 or later version iPad.
Add Your Item Device
Step 1
Download the Find My APP from the Apple store.
Start the APP, Open Find My APP on your supported iPhone or iPad.
Step 2
Press one time device’s function button, you will hear the beeping sound
indicating device entering pairing mode.
The duration of pairing mode is 1 minute. Press again the function button to
re-enter pairing mode.
Step 3
Select the “Items” tab then Tap the “Add Item” tab.
Step 4
Tap “Other Supported Items”.
Step 5
- Make sure your device is close to your iPhone.
- Find My APP enter searching mode, and when you see the F2 pop up, click the ‘Connect’
- Follow the guidance on screen and input device name and select the icon, then click ‘Continue’
- Here please add your device to your Apple ID, then click ‘Continue
- Click ‘Finish’, your device will beep twice indicating setting finished.
How to replace the Battery
- Use your fingernails at the small gap on the side of your Item Locater to carefully open the case.
- Replace the battery with a new CR2032 battery. (Positive pole upward).
- Carefully close the Item Device.
Unwanted Tracking Detection:
- When there’s other person’s device mixed in your belongings, and has been tracking for a while, you will be notified via below methods:
- If you are using iPhone, iPad etc Apple products, you will be notified on these Apple devices, and such feature supports iOS or iPadOS 14.5 and later version only. Or if your friend is carrying such device, or there are many people on the metro also carrying such devices, please do not worry, as long as the device is close to its owner,such notification will not be triggered.

Locate your Item
- Find Item Device Tap “Play Sound” to make your Item Device beep when it is nearby.
- Find your Item Device location: Your Item Device last known location will appear on the map as emoji you choose during set up, tap “Directions”to navigate to the last known location.
Find Item When Out of Range
- Enable the “Notify When Left Behind” toggle, you will receive a notification when you leave your Item Device behind and it is no longer in range of your device.
- Enable the “Notify when Found” toggle, when your Item location is seen by another Find My enabled device, you will receive a notification of its updated location.
- Note: ” Notify When Found”can only be activated when your Item Device is out of range.
When Your Item is Lost
- When Your Item is feature “Lost Mode”, tap the “Enable” tab, a screen detailing Lost Mode will pop up, tab “Continue”. You can enter your phone number or email address and tap “Next”. You may enter a message that will be shared with the person that finds your item. Tap “Activate” to enable “Lost Mode”
- Note: When “Lost Mode” is enabled, “Notification When Found” is automatically enabled.
- Note: When “Lost Mode” is enabled, your Item Device is locked and cannot be paired to a new device.
Remove & Reset your Item Device

Ensure “Lost Mode” is disabled, tap “Remove Item” tab, a summary will pop up, tap”Remove” to confirm.
After successfully removing the Item Device from the
APP, press the Item Device function button four times rapidly, you will hear a beep each time you press it, and then hold it a fifth time until you hear a ringing chime. -
The Item Device is now reset and ready to pair to a new device.
