Product Usage Instructions

  1. Before installation, make sure to turn off the power supply to avoid electric shock.
  2. Start by attaching the Mounting Plate (A) to the desired location using the provided Mounting Screws (B).
  3. Connect the Ground Wire to the Ground Screw (C) on the Mounting Plate. Ensure that the Ground Wire is not connected to the Hot Wire to prevent injury or death.
  4. Using a Wire Nut (D), securely connect the necessary wires. Make sure there are no exposed wires or strands that could cause a short circuit.
  5. Double-check that the Hot and Neutral wires are correctly connected. Reversing them could result in serious injury or death.
  6. Attach the Fixture Assembly (F) to the Mounting Plate (A) using the Set Screws (E).
  7. Place the Glass (G) over the Fixture Assembly and secure it with the Glass Ring (H).
  8. Insert a 60-watt Type G16.5 lamp (Bulb I) into the Socket.
  9. Ensure not to exceed the recommended wattage for the fixture.

Installation

FIXTURE INSTALLATION

  1. Attach the MOUNTING PLATE (A) unto the junction box using the MOUNTING SCREWS (B). This fixture is designed to be mounted on standard round or octagon junction box. The junction box must be securely mounted to the structure of the building.

  2. Attach the Ground wire (Green) to the ground inside the outlet box (Generally green or bar copper wire) or the GROUND SCREW (C) on the MOUNTING PLATE (A). NEVER CONNECT GROUND WIRE
    TO ‘HOT’ WIRE! FAILURE TO FOLLOW THIS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH!

  3. Connect the white fixture lead to the neutral (Generally white) wire in the outlet box. Fasten the wires together with an approved fastener (WIRE NUT (D). Starting I* below the fastener, tightly wrap the connection with electrical tape so that the connections seals the end of the fastener. MAKE SURE
    THERE ARE NO EXPOSED WIRE OF STRANDS THAT COULD CAUSE A DANGEROUS SHORT CIRCUIT!

  4. Connect the black fixture leads to the hot (Generally black) wire in the junction box. Fasten the joined wires same as previous step. NEVER REVERSE HOT AND NEUTRAL WIRES. FAILURE TO FOLLOW THIS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH!

  5. Attach the FIXTURE ASSEMBLY (F) to the MOUNTING PLATE (A) and secure with the SET SCREWS (E).

  6. Lift the GLASS (G) up onto the fixture and secure using the RING (H).

  7. Screw the BULB (1) up into the SOCKET of the fixture. THIS FIXTURE IS RATED FOR 60 WATT TYPE GI6.5 LAMP. DO NOT EXCEED THE RECOMMENDED WATTAGE!

  8. Restore power to the outlet at the breaker or fuse box.
