Product Usage Instructions
Safety Precautions
- Inspect the wire insulation for any cuts, abrasions, or exposed copper before installation. If there is any defect in the wire, do not proceed with installation and contact Nathan James Customer Happiness team.
- Before starting the installation, disconnect the power by turning off the circuit breaker or removing the appropriate fuse at the fuse box. Simply turning off the switch is not sufficient to prevent electrical shock. If you have any electrical questions, consult a qualified electrician.
Assembly Instructions
Pre-Installation
- Temporarily remove loose components from the Fixture (1).
- Thread the vertical extension rod onto the central socket hub of the Fixture (1).
- Remove the Ball Nuts (G) from the Frame Supports (2) by unscrewing them from the bottom.
- Loosely secure the 4 Frame Supports (2) to the Frame Base (3) using the Ball Nuts (G). Do not tighten all the way.
Installation
- Using the top center support hub that you removed in Step 1, begin securing the Frame Supports (2) in place using the Allen Key (F).
- Continue securing the additional Frame Supports (2) to the top center support hub using the Allen Key (F).
Once the assembly is complete, ensure that all bolts and screws are tightened securely. Remember not to over tighten screws and bolts to avoid stripping. It is recommended to use hand tools for assembling this product and avoid using power tools. Enjoy your Skye Pendant Light and create a beautiful lighting atmosphere in your space!

WARNING: RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
Before starting the installation, disconnect the power by turning off the
circuit breaker or by removing the appropriate fuse at the fuse box. Turning
the power off at the switch is NOT SUFFICIENT to prevent electrical shock.
PLEASE CONSULT A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN IF YOU HAVE ANY ELECTRICAL QUESTIONS.

- Do not tighten bolts / screws completely until all bolts / screws are lined up and inserted into holes.
- Do not over tighten screws and bolts to avoid stripping.
- Please use hand tools to assemble this product. Do not use power tools.
Pre-Installation
- Read all instructions prior to beginning assembly.
- To avoid damaging this product, assemble it on a soft, non-abrasive surface such as carpet or cardboard.
- Keep the receipt and these instructions for proof of purchase.

Step 1
Alright, let’s get this thing fired up! Temporarily remove loose components
from the Fixture (1).
Step 2
Next, thread the vertical extension rod onto the central socket hub of the
Fixture (1).
Step 3
Yep, this step is as easy as it looks. Remove the Ball Nuts (G) from the Frame
Supports (2) by unscrewing them from the bottom.
Step 4
Loosely secure the 4 Frame Supports (2) to the Frame Base (3) using the Ball
Nuts (G). Do not tighten all the way. This light is really starting to come
together!
Step 5
Using the top center support hub that you removed in Step 1, begin securing
the Frame Supports (2) in place using the Allen Key (F).

Continue securing the additional Frame Supports (2) to the top center support
hub using the Allen Key (F).
Step 6
Now tighten all connections to 100% using the Allen Key (F).
Step 7
You’re over halfway done! Now would be a great time to order a celebratory
pizza. Using the remaining loose components that were removed in Step 1,
secure the Fixture (1) to the metal frame components.
Step 8
Remove the threaded collar from the Mounting Bracket (C). Then install the
Mounting Bracket (C) onto your pre-installed electrical box using the M4*26mm
Junction Box Screws (D).
Step 9
Now thread the wires from the Fixture (1) through the Chain (B), then through
the threaded collar from the Mounting Bracket (C), and, finally, through the
Canopy (A). Next, secure the chain to the loop from the Mounting Bracket (C).
Note: the canopy and threaded collar will still be loose on the chain
.
Step 10
Wrap the Ground Wire around the grounding screw on the Mounting Bracket (C),
then secure by tightening the screw.
Step 11
Use the Wire Nuts (E) to connect the matching colored wires (white to black,
black to the black wire with L label, and ground to ground). Once complete,
tuck the excess wire into the electrical box.
Step 12
Using the threaded collar, secure the Fixture (1) and Canopy (A) in place by
threading it back onto the Mounting Bracket (C).
Step 13
You made it to the last step! To celebrate, we’ve made this step really easy
for you. Just install in the light bulbs, and then you’re done! We recommend
using 4 G16 LED 60 Watt equivalent bulbs (not included). Time to enjoy that
celebratory pizza!
Troubleshooting

What other light bulbs can fit in this light?
The bulb must not be greater than the max wattage for the fixture. It must
match the base size, and the diameter of any area of the bulb should be less
than diameter of any area of shade, so that it can fit.
Can I use an LED light bulb?
Yes, so long that the base size matches and the diameter of any area of bulb
is less than diameter of any area of shade, so that it can fit.
Is this UL/ETL certified?
Yes, all our products are either UL or ETL.
Do I need an electrician to set up the hardwire?
We recommend using a certified electrician for all hardwiring, although all of
our fixtures can be set up without an electrician, as long as you are
replacing an existing fixture or have an existing junction box ready for a
fixture installation. ENSURE POWER IS OFF WHEN INSTALLING. For all new
constructions, please use a certified electrician.
Can I retrofit this hard-wired to a plug-in or vice-versa?
Yes, a plug-in fixture can be turned into a hardwire fixture and a hardwire
fixture can become a plug-in fixture. For many products we will provide all
the necessary hardware to make these changes, if not, you will need to
purchase the necessary hardware.
Is this light compatible outside North America?
Our lighting is only warranted in Canada and the United States.
What do I do if the product is not working?
Try a different light bulb and confirm proper installation.
Can these lights work on a dimmer?
Dimmability is related to the light bulb and the wall switch, not the light
fixture. All our hardwire fixtures are compatible with dimmable light bulbs.
We recommend using a dimmer switch, as it extends the life of the bulb and
allows for energy saving and great ambiance. If using a LED bulb, please
ensure both your LED bulb and dimmer switch are compatible.
Can I use the fixture outdoors?
No, this product was not designed to be used outdoors.
