PROCHEM E827 Olefin Pre Clean

Removes oily soils and breaks the static soil bonds on heavily soiled

olefin

APPLICATION: Pre-spray
DESCRIPTION: Pre-conditioning cleaner for olefin carpet. Ideal for olefin fiber carpets usually found in offices, clinics, health care facilities, institutions and in many commercial buildings. Its high-grade detergents, solvents and amphoteric surfactants loosen soils adhering to fibers with a static bond. Removes sticky soils and greases that can cause yellowing and fiber discoloration. Olefin Pre-Clean can also be used on soot damaged synthetic carpets, synthetic upholstery, and filtration soil issues.

FEATURES

  • Powerful pre-conditioner for olefin (polypropylene) carpets
  • Deep-cleans oil and soil buildup, removes discoloration
  • Removes filtration soil at carpet edges
  • Not for use on stain-resistant carpets
WHERE TO USE: For professional use as a pre-spray for olefin (polypropylene) and commercial carpeting, using hot water extraction.

  • Pump Sprayer: 4 oz. per gallon
  • Injection Sprayer (High Pressure 1:9 type): 1½ to 2 qts. in 5-qt. injection sprayer

USE INSTRUCTIONS

Pretest in an inconspicuous location. For use on olefin (polypropylene) carpets. Use only as a pre-conditioner, rinse well.

Pump Sprayer: Mix 4 oz./gal. (1:32 dilution). Pre-spray, allow 5 to 15 minutes dwell time, do not allow to dry. Rinse-extract thoroughly with All Fiber Deep Clean (S103) solution to remove oils, soil and detergent residues.
Injection Sprayer (High Pressure 1:9 type): Add 1½ quarts (48 oz) for normal soil, 2 quarts (64 oz) for heavy soil, to the 5-qt. injection sprayer container, fill with water.
Pre-spray and rinse-extract.
COVERAGE: Makes up to 33 gallons of ready-to-use pre-spray. One ready-to- use gallon cleans approximately 400 square feet. Coverage will vary depending on soil level and thickness and absorbency of carpet.
USAGE TIPS: Use for, similar to, substitute for, where to use/not use

  •  Use Prochem All Fiber Deep Clean (S103) to rinse-extract for powerful two-step cleaning on olefin and commercial carpets. Rinsing with All Fiber Deep Clean reduces browning and wicking that are often a problem on olefin carpets.
  • Add ½ to 1 oz of Chemspec Energizer oxygen bleach cleaning booster to a ready-to-use gallon of Olefin Pre-Clean to brighten dulled colors, lighten discoloration, and help reduce odors. Pre-test for colorfastness. On solution-dyed carpet only, up to 3 oz Energizer may be added per gallon with caution only on olefin to help solve severe discoloration problems. Rinse well.
  • Use to remove copier or printer toner spills: First dry vacuum up as much of the spilled toner as possible using an attachment or vacuum without a beater bar. Pre-spray with Olefin Pre-Clean at 4 oz. per gallon. Extract and repeat until removal is complete. The amphoteric surfactants help break the static bond between toner and fibers.
