Catell recommends that the product is fitted and adapted by a licensed or
otherwise qualified health professional. Users with diabetes, sensitive skin,
known contact allergies, impaired sensibility, or poor circulation must be
extra observant and check for pinching, chafing, or edema when using the
brace. Always check the material content below. Contact your prescriber or
Catell if questions about the product occur.
Area of use
The brace supports the user’s hand, wrist, and forearm after injury, surgery,
chronic pain, osteoarthritis, or overuse problems. The brace can also be used
for the preventive purpose in heavy or repetitive movements.
Application
- If the brace has a straight splint, take it out of the splint pocket and bend it to the appropriate shape and angle of the user’s hand and needs. Place it back in the splint pocket. Splint dent must be turned in towards the palm. Picture 1
- Open all hook and loop straps, then close the thumb strap. Place your hand in the brace as illustrated in pictures 2 or 4.
- Close all hook and loop straps and adjust them so that the brace fits comfortably. Picture 3 or 5
Cut off the excess hook and loop straps for a cleaner and neater appearance.
Adjust the hook and loop straps when necessary. It is important that the brace
fits comfortably without pinching, chafing, or affecting blood circulation.
Material
Strong: nylon, elastane.
Stabil: cotton, polyester, elastane.
Comfort: cotton, polyamide, polyester, elastane.
Neopren: synthetic rubber, polyester, polyamide.
Soft: polyester, viscose, elastane, nylon. Free from latex.
Washing instructions
Close the hook and loop straps and remove the splint, if the brace has one, from the splint pocket. Follow the washing instructions below. Use a washing pouch. Let the brace drip dry.

*Measure wrist circumference. Measurements should be seen as guidelines. Single patient use. If the product contains neoprene, use is recommended for a maximum of 4 hours at a time.
Recycling:
If the product has a removable splint, take it out and sort it according to
local regulations.
This device conforms to the requirements of the Medical Device Regulation
2017:745, product class 1.
