IN GENERAL

The device was created to exterminate all disturbing insects. The special fluorescent tubes (Black Light) attract insects from a long distance. For this reason it could be used in every place that many insects exist. They are attracted and pass though the interior metal net, they are exterminated by high voltage. There is an exterior net in order to protect birds, animals or human beings that are close enough.
Without using any chemical material it offers a complete protection again stay insects like mosquitos, flies, tiny gnats etc. There is a special drawer at the bottom side of the device where all dead insects are collected. To remove the drawer unscrew the retaining screw.
WARNING!!!
Before removing the drawer follow carefully the below steps.
a. Remove the plug of the mains.
b. Unscrew the retaining screw of the drawer.
c. Remove the special drawer, clean the drawer and re- install it. Then screw again the retaining screw and reconnect the device on the mains.
In case of changing the lamps or the starter, follow carefully the below steps.
a. Remove the plug of the mains.
b. Unfasten the retaining screws and remove the protective exterior net.
c. Replace the tube or the starter which is worn.
d. Reinstall the protective exterior net and fasten the removed screws.
e. Finish reconnecting the device on the mains and it is ready to operate.
ATTENTION!!! When the device is operating the protective exterior net must be installed.

Installation

Just plug the apparatus to the mains and it is ready for operation.
It is placed in a clear and visible place so as to attract insects easily .
It includes two hooks on top side for ceiling mounting installation using a chain. The RT15 and RT-15/2 are suitable for hospitals, army camps, factories, etc.
The models RT-15/6 and RT-15/7 are special models with a mirror for wall- mounting installation. The connection is the same as previously. The installation is as follows.
First remove the screws 1A and 1B(Figure 1) which are found at the upper side- wise and replace them with the plastic holders.
Afterwards install the apparatus on the wall.
Finally place the plastic holders at point 2A and 2B (Figure 1) and fix it on the wall.

WARNING!!!

• The device is suitable for internal installation.
• The device must be kept away from children.
• The device must be not installed in areas with combustible gases or explosive dust.
• The device is not suitable for use in Sheds, cottages, stables and likewise places.
• If the device’s cable is worn or damaged it must be replaced from OLYMPIA ELECTRONICS SERVICE department.

WARRANTY

Olympia Electronics guarantees the quality, condition and operation of the goods. The period of warranty is specified in the official catalogue of Olympia Electronics and also in the technical leaflet, which accompanies each product. This warranty ceases to exist if the buyer does not follow the technical instructions included in official documents given by Olympia Electronics or if the buyer modifies the goods provided or has any repairs or re-setting done by a third party, unless Olympia Electronics has fully agreed to them in writing. Products that have been damaged can be returned to the premises of our company for repair or replacement, as long as the warranty period is valid.
Olympia Electronics reserves the right to repair or to replace the returned goods and to or not charge the buyer depending on the reason of defection. Olympia Electronics reserves the right to charge or not the buyer the transportation cost.
