The Ionic Hair Dryer HDR-1211 is a powerful hair dryer designed to quickly and efficiently dry your hair. Warnings and Safety Precautions

• DO NOT use this product if its power cord or plug is damaged or overheated, as it may cause burns, electric shock, or a short circuit leading to a fire.
• When unplugging the product, grip the plug to pull it out instead of pulling on the power cord to prevent damage or accidents.
• Ensure the plug is firmly inserted into a 220V~ voltage socket and avoid sharing the socket with other appliances. DO NOT use the hair dryer with an extension cord.
• If the power cord is damaged, it should be replaced by a professional technician from the manufacturer or its repair department.

Usage and Storage

• If using the hair dryer in the bathroom, always unplug it after each use to prevent accidents near water.

• For added safety, it is recommended to install a residual current device (RCD) with a rated residual operating current not
  exceeding 30mA in the bathroom’s electrical circuit. Consult an RCD installer for details.

• DO NOT use the hair dryer near bathtubs, showers, wash basins, or other water-containing containers.

• Ensure that the air inlet is not blocked during use to prevent overheating and potential fire hazards.

• DO NOT block or insert objects into the air inlet or outlet, as it may cause burns, electric shock, or a short circuit leading to a fire.

• DO NOT immerse the hair dryer in water.

• If the hair dryer emits smoke, immediately stop using it, unplug it from the socket, and contact German Pool Customer Service & Repair Centre.

• Keep the hair dryer dry at all times. DO NOT touch it with wet
  hands to avoid electric shock or a short circuit leading to a fire.

• DO NOT use the hair dryer near flammable substances such as petroleum gas, volatile agents, or paint thinner sprays to prevent
  explosions or short circuits leading to a fire.

• DO NOT leave the hair dryer unattended when it is powered on to avoid potential short circuits and fires.

Storage Recommendations

• DO NOT wrap the power cord around the unit when storing, as it may cause the power cord to break and result in a short circuit leading to a fire.
• DO NOT store the hair dryer in a humid environment to prevent electric shock or a short circuit leading to a fire.
• Keep the hair dryer out of reach of infants and children to avoid electric shock or injury.
• DO NOT attempt to repair, dismantle, or retrofit the hair dryer on your own. Contact a professional for any repairs or modifications.

Power Cord & Plug

1. DO NOT use this product if its power cord or plug is damaged or overheated, otherwise it may cause burns, electric shock or short circuit leading to a fire.
2. DO NOT use this product if the power plug is loose and cannot be firmly plugged into the socket, otherwise it may cause burns, electric shock or short circuit leading to a fire.
3. DO NOT plug or unplug the power plug with wet hands, otherwise it may cause electric shock or injury.
4. DO NOT use this product with the power cord coiled up, otherwise it may cause electric shock or short circuit leading to a fire.
5.  DO NOT damage, retrofit, forcefully bend, pull or twist the power cord, and DO NOT place heavy objects on the power cord, otherwise it may cause electric shock or short circuit leading to a fire.
6. When unplugging this product from the socket, grip the plug to pull out, DO NOT pull on the power cord, otherwise it may tear or break the power cord, causing burns, electric shock or short circuit leading to a fire.
7. Make sure the plug is plugged in all the way; make sure to use with 220V~ voltage; DO NOT share socket with other appliances; and DO NOT use this product with an extension cord, otherwise it may cause electric shock or short circuit leading to a fire.
8.  To avoid hazards, If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a professional technician from the manufacturer, its repair department or similar department.

Usage & Storage

1. If this product is used in the bathroom, it must be unplugged after each use, because even when the power is turned off, it still poses a danger if it is placed near water.
2.  For added safety, it is recommended to install a residual current device (RCD) with a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA in the electrical circuit of the bathroom power supply. Please consult an RCD installer for details.

4.  When this product is in use, DO NOT block the air inlet, otherwise it may cause the heating element to turn red and cause a fire.

6. DO NOT immerse this product in water.
7. If this product emits smoke, stop using immediately, unplug from the socket immediately and contact German Pool Customer Service & Repair Centre.
8.  This product must be kept dry at all times, otherwise it may cause electric shock. DO NOT use touch this product with wet hands, otherwise it may cause electric shock or short circuit leading to a fire.
9. DO NOT use this product near petroleum gas or other flammable substances (such as volatile agents, paint thinner sprays, etc.), otherwise it may cause explosion or short circuit leading to a fire.
10. DO NOT leave this product unattended when it is powered on, otherwise it may cause short circuit leading to a fire.
11. When storing this product, DO NOT wrap the power cord around the unit, otherwise it may lead to the power cord breaking and causing short circuit

•  When this product is in use, the air outlet may become hot, DO NOT touch, otherwise it may cause burns.
•  Avoid dropping this product or subjecting it to strong impact, otherwise it may cause electric shock or short circuit leading to a fire.
•  DO NOT use this product if its air inlet is broken or damaged, otherwise hair may get caught into the air inlet and lead to hair damage.
• DO NOT use this product on infants and young children, otherwise it may cause burns.
•  This product is equipped with overheat protection device, and power will automatically cut off when temperature is too high. Should this product suddenly stop during use, unplug it from the socket immediately, let it cool down for several minutes, and make sure there is no fluff or hair blocking the air inlet and air outlet before turning on the product again.

Product Structure

Operation Instructions
On/Off Button
Connect to the power source, then press On/Off Button to turn on the product. Product will run on the wind speed and heat setting selected before the last shutdown.

Wind Speed Button / Heat Setting Button
When product is turned on, press Wind Speed Button to select wind speed, the corresponding indicator light lights up constant in green; press Heat Setting Button to select heat setting, the corresponding indicator light lights up constant in orange.

Styling Attachments
This product comes with a Diffused Air Nozzle and a Concentrated Air Nozzle; the nozzles are magnetically attached, simply aim at the air outlet and they will automatically snap on.

WARNING!

• When using this product, DO NOT grip the air inlet filter, otherwise the air inlet may become blocked, causing the motor to overheat and become damaged. Make sure the air inlet remains well ventilated at all times.
• During use, the air outlet may become hot; DO NOT detach or touch the attachments to avoid getting burnt.

Cleaning & Maintenance

WARNING!
Turn off the product and unplug it from the power source before cleaning.

• Regularly clean the air inlet and air outlet with towel, cotton swabs or toothbrush.
• DO NOT use fingernails or sharp objects to press or rub the air inlet to avoid damaging the product.
• DO NOT use alcohol, nail polish remover or cleansers to clean this product, otherwise it may cause malfunction, crack or discoloration.
• Regularly untwist the air inlet filter cover cap and clean filter with a soft brush.

Attaching / Detaching Air Inlet Filter Cover

1. Grip the air inlet filter cover and twist anticlockwise to detach it.
2. Align the dot on the air inlet filter cover with the hollow dot on the body, and twist clockwise until it locks on.

Under normal operations, the product will guarantee a 1-year full warranty provided by  German Pool (effective from the date of purchase).

• This warranty is not valid until customer registration information is received by our Service Centre within 10 days of purchase via one of the following means:

   • labour costs for on-site installation, check-up, repair, replacement of parts and other transportation costs;
