Dear Customers,
Instruction manuals provide valuable hints for using your new device. They
enable you to use all functions, and they help you avoid misunderstandings and
prevent damage. Please take the time to read this manual carefully and keep it
for future reference. If you pass the device on to third parties, enclose
these instructions.
SAFETY NOTES
**** Please note the included General Safety Notes and the following safety notes to avoid malfunctions, damage or physical injury:
- Please read this manual carefully and use the device only according to this manual.
- Dispose of used packaging material carefully or store it out of the reach of children. There is a danger of suffocation!
- Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed to use the device, unless they are supervised and briefed for their safety by a qualified person.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the heating mat.
- Never use the heating mat for people in need of supervision, infants (under 3 years of age), or persons who are unsusceptible to heat. Avoid direct skin contact (bare feet) when using the heating mat.
- Do not use the heating mat when it is folded or buckled.
- Do not use the heating mat while sleeping, or if you feel drowsy.
- Do not cover the heating mat in order to avoid heat accumulation.
- Do not stick needles or similar objects into the heating mat.
- Do not step on the heating mat with moistened or wet feet.
- Keep the heating mat away from flames or other hot objects.
- When sitting on an office chair with casters make sure not to run over the heating mat in order not to damage the heating wires.
- Do not use the heating mat outdoors. The heating mat is for indoor use only.
- Do not operate the heating mat in wet rooms such as bathroom or sauna.
- Do not fix the heating mat on the ground, e. g. by using staples, screws, nails etc.
- Do not wash the heating mat. Only use a cloth slightly moistened for slight soiling and let the heating mat dry completely before use. Do not operate the heating mat when moisten or wet.
- You can use a clothes brush or a similar object if the heating mat is heavily soiled. Do not exert too much pressure on the heating mat while cleaning.
- Do not allow pets to chew/bite on the heating mat or to scratch the mat with sharp claws. Do not allow pets to lay on the heating mat.
- Unplug the heating mat if you do not use it or clean it. Never pull on the line cord, but grasp the plug itself to unplug. Always remove the plug from the socket if the heating mat is without any supervision.
- The unit is designed for operation is altitudes of up to 2000 m above sea level.
- Do not disassemble the heating mat or try to repair it yourself. It does not contain parts serviceable by you. Stop using the heating mat if the unit or the power connector are damaged. Repair work must be done by a qualified technician.
- If due to normal or excessive wear and tear a light fabric is visible, the surface of the heating mat is worn out. In this case, do not operate the heating mat any more.
Operation
Before first Use
Remove all packaging from the heating mat and dispose of the packaging or
store it in a safe place out of reach of children. There is danger of
suffocation!
Operating the Heating Mat
- Put the heating mat on the ground. Connect the power cable to the wall socket.
- Switch on the heating mat with the on/off switch. The power control LED turns on. The heating mat will heat up and cool down in intervals. This will ensure pleasant heat.
- If you do not use the heating mat, pull the power plug.
Cleaning and Storing
Do not wash the heating mat. Only use a cloth slightly moistened for slight
soiling and let the heating mat dry completely before use. Do not operate the
heating mat when moisten or wet.
Wash the case by hand at 30° C with a mild detergent. Do not Iron or tumble
dry the case.
Store the heating mat out of reach of children in a dry and cool place.
