Dear Customers
This kitchen timer is useful for hobby, home and leisure time. The timer can be set to a time of up to 24 hours. On the back side is a magnet to stick the timer to any kind of magnetic surface. Please familiarize yourself with the unit according to this manual and keep it for further reference.
Batteries and rechargeable Batteries do not belong in household garbage. For battery disposal, please check with your local council.

Safety Notes and Operation

Please note the following safety notes to avoid malfunctions and damage:

  • Dispose of the packaging materials carefully; the plastic bags may become a deadly toy for children.
  • Keep the kitchen timer out of the reach of children. It is not a toy.
  • If you do not plan to use the kitchen timer for some time, remove the batteries. Do not disassemble, burn, or short-circuit batteries and do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries. Do not mix rechargeable batteries and nonchargeable batteries and use only batteries of the same type.
  • Do not expose the kitchen timer to direct sunlight, humidity, dirt, high temperature, strong light or strong magnetic fields.
  • Do not disassemble the unit or attempt to repair it yourself. It does not contain parts serviceable by you.

Inserting the Batteries

  1. Use a suitable screwdriver and unscrew the battery compartment screw. Insert three batteries of the type LR03 (AAA), observing right polarity.
  2. Tighten the battery compartment lid with the screw.

Using the Kitchen Timer

  1. Press the button (3) in order to set the seconds. Press the button (4) in order to set the minutes. By holding the buttons pressed, the values will change rapidly. Time settings from 99 minutes and 59 seconds can be performed.

  2. Press START button (5) in order to activate the timer. As long as time is running out, the letters M and S will flash. When the time has run to 0, the lid of the kitchen timer will lift up and the chicken will “cluck”.

  3. Either press the lid with your hand down or press the START button to quit the alarm. After approx. 3 seconds the alarm will switch off.
    Please note the alarm will automatically switch off after 90 seconds. Therefore quit the alarm by pressing the START button or by pressing the lid down in order not to waste needlessly battery power.

  4. To pause the adjusted time, press the START button once more and the time will stand still. To reset the display to 0, simultaneously press the second and minute buttons. The display turns to 00:00.
    When the display shows 00:00 and you press the START button, the time will start from 99:59 and count down to 0.

Changing the Batteries
If the display becomes weak, remove the battery compartment cover and replace the spent batteries with fresh one of the same type. Do not mix old and new batteries.

Cleaning and Storing

  • Clean the kitchen timer only with a dry or lightly moistened cloth. Do not use aggressive chemicals or abrasives for cleaning. Do not immerse the timer in liquids of any kind.
  • Store the kitchen timer indoors in a dry place that is protected from dust, dirt and extreme temperatures.
