IMPORTANT!
The unit must be disconnected from its power supply sources before undertaking
any installation, repair or handling operations on the unit’s connections.
Contact the after-sales service if you suspect that there is an operational
fault in the unit. The unit has been designed for easy replacement in case of
malfunction.
The manufacturer of the unit is not responsible for any damage resulting from
failure by the user or installer to heed the warnings and/or recommendations

products or accessories or those made by other manufacturers.
DESCRIPTION
ePick GPRS VPN is a gateway designed to communicate with machines and sensors,
collect and store their data and send it to the web for processing.
The device communicates via GPRS, has Ethernet, RS-485 and includes a SIM card
with VPN communications to provide a 100% two-way connection without the need
for configuration.
The ePick GPRS VPN always communicates with the DataBox platform via GPRS.
INSTALLATION
The ePick GPRS VPN has been designed for assembly on DIN rail.
IMPORTANT!
Take into account that when the device is connected, the terminals may be
hazardous to the touch, and opening the covers or removing elements may
provide access to parts that are dangerous to the touch. Do not use the device
until it is fully installed.
The device must be connected to a power circuit protected by gL (IEC 60269) or
M class fuses between 0.5 and 2A. It must be fitted with a circuit breaker or
equivalent device to disconnect the device from the power supply.
The ePick GPRS VPN can be connected to a device (machines, sensors …) via
Ethernet or RS-485:
√ Ethernet:
A category 5 or higher network cable is required for the Ethernet connection.
√ RS-485:
The connection via RS-485 requires a twisted communication cable to be
connected between terminals A+, B- and GND.
START-UP
The device must be configured from the Circutor Databox web platform, after it is connected to the auxiliary power supply (terminals L and N). See Instruction Manual M382B01-03-xxx.
