IMPORTANT!

The device must be disconnected from its power supply sources (power supply and measurement) before undertaking any installation, repair or handling operations on the device’s connections. 1. DESCRIPTION

The COMPACT DC-S BASIC concentrator manages and reads single and three-phase energy meters with PRIME communications connected to the same low voltage network.

The COMPACT DC-S BASIC concentrator is typically installed in the transformer substation and enables telemanagement of the energy meters, whether by reading the information they supply or by executing actions that this type of device can execute, such as modifying tariffs, activating the circuit breaker, etc.

The device features PRIME PLC communications, an Ethernet port and an integrated 3G modem.

The device is configured via a web server.
IP address: 192.168.42.30.
Port: 80.
Netmask: 255.255.255.0
User: admin. Password: admin (access to Read/Write)
User: user. Password: user (access to Read)

2. INSTALLATION

The COMPACT DC-S BASIC is designed to be assembled on a DIN rail (IEC 60715), with standard fixing points for being fixed to the rail.

IMPORTANT!

Take into account that when the device is connected, the terminals may be hazardous to the touch, and opening the covers or removing elements may provide access to parts that are dangerous to the touch. Do not use the device until it is fully installed

To connect the device, always start by connecting the neutral before the phases and to disconnect it, firstly remove the phases and then the neutral. Otherwise, the device could be damaged if there is voltage present during this process.

Attention: all the terminals must be fixed with side set screws to avoid false contacts.
