Plumbing Connection
- This appliance is intended to be permanently connected to the water mains and should not be connected by a detachable hose-set.
- Only connect this appliance to a water supply that meets the min/max pressures specified in the specifications section of this manual.
- Make a connection from the cold water supply of the building to the connection marked ‘WATER IN’.
- Cut to length the ¼” pipe provided to fit your installation. Take care to make a clean straight cut and not to crush the ends of the pipe as this may cause the connection to fail.
- A brass adapter and plastic connector are provided to connect the ¼” pipe to 15mm mains supply copper pipe.
- Two identical connectors are provided to connect the ¼” pipe to the ‘WATER IN’ inlet on the appliance and then to connect a new run of ¼” pipe from the ‘WATER OUT’ outlet of the appliance to the desired tap/ cold water dispenser. The 2 black washers provided are for these 2 connectors and a locking collar is provided for each of the 3 plastic connectors.
- If a filter is specified, check the specific filter for guidance on any installation and flushing procedures. Flushing of the filter should be performed before connection to the appliance.

Operation
- The appliance can be set to deliver chilled water temperatures from 8 °C to 12 °C.
- To adjust the temperature setting of the chilled water, a flat headed screwdriver is required to turn the screw located at the rear of the appliance
- It is recommended that the lowest acceptable setting is used for drinking water, this is based on personal preference. The appliance is factory set to 4 which is approx 10°C.
- If a lower temperature than is necessary is chosen the compressor will work harder and in turn lead to an increase to the temperature of the installation environment.
- After heavy draw- offs from the chiller, it will need time to recover before further chilled water is available. The recovery time will vary dependent on incoming water temperature and temperature set point but is typically between 8 and 12 minutes for the full capacity of the tank.
