Product Information
The EIKON EVO 21848.1 is a touchscreen device designed to beused in an automation system for controlling lights, roller shutters, air-conditioning, and scenarios. It allows for the supervision and control of all devices within the automation system that have been configured.
The touchscreen features an ON/OFF switch for controlling lights, roller shutter control, dimmer control for light dimming, scenario activation, and climate control.
The device can be configured using the Touchscreen Configurer software and the programming interface 01998. The software allows you to select the functions (groups, scenarios, etc.) that you want to control via the touchscreen. The Touchscreen Configurer software can be downloaded free of charge from the Software section of the website www.vimar.com. Alternatively, the touch screen can also be configured using the software via the interface 01998.
All the updated ETS databases can be downloaded from the Software section of the website www.vimar.com.
Installation of the EIKON EVO 21848.1 should be carried out by qualified personnel in compliance with the current regulations regarding the installation of electrical equipment in the country where the products are installed.
The device conforms to Directive EMC and complies with norms EN 50428 and EN 50090-2-2.
Product Usage Instructions
- Connect the interface 01998 to the special connector on the front of the device.
- Download and install the Touchscreen Configurer software from the Software section of the website www.vimar.com.
- Open the Touchscreen Configurer software and select the ETS project database that has been used to configure the system.
- Select the functions (groups, scenarios, etc.) that you want to control via the touchscreen.
- Configure the touchscreen using the selected functions.
- Ensure that the installation of the device is carried out by qualified personnel in compliance with the regulations of the country where the products are installed.

Automation Devices
Touch screen color 4.3” for control and command, Well-contact Plus, 1 input for temperature sensor, complete with support for installation in a box of 8 modules, to be completed with Eikon Evo, Eikon, Arké or Plana cover plate. Touchscreen device to be used in the automation system for controlling lights, roller shutters, air- conditioning and scenarios. The configuration of the touch screen is done with the Touchscreen Configurer software connecting the interface 01998 to the special connector on the front of the device. The touchscreen allows the supervision and control of all the devices in the automation system that have been configured.

CONFIGURATION
The touchscreen is configured with the Touchscreen Configurer software and the programming interface 01998; using the ETS project database with which the system has been configured, select the functions (groups, scenarios, etc.) that you want to control via the touchscreen. The Touchscreen configurer software can be downloaded free of charge from the “Software” section of the website www.vimar.com. N.B. The touch screen can also be configured by using the software via the inter-face 01998. All the updated ETS databases can be downloaded from the “Software” section of the website www.vimar.com
INSTALLATION RULES
Installation should be carried out by qualified personnel in compliance with
the current regulations regarding the installation of electrical equipment in
the country where the products are installed.
CONFORMITY
EMC directive Standards EN 50428, EN 50090-2-2. REACH (EU) Regulation no.
1907/2006 – Art.33. The product may contain traces of lead.
WEEE – Information for users
If the crossed-out bin symbol appears on the equipment or packaging, this
means the product must not be included with other general waste at the end of
its working life. The user must take the worn product to a sorted waste
center, or return it to the retailer when purchasing a new one. Products for
disposal can be consigned free of charge (without any new purchase obligation)
