Product Information

The HD PTZ Camera is a high-definition pan-tilt-zoom camera that comes with various features and functions. It supports video analysis functions and has a wide dynamic range (WDR), backlight compensation (BLC), defog, and 3D noise reduction (3DNR). It also has RTSP support and can be powered through PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at) or with a 12 Vdc power supply. The camera has a maximum power consumption of 22 W and is equipped with slots for a 256GB SD card. The camera weighs 2100 g.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Before using the product, make sure to read the instruction manual fully.
  2. To connect the camera to the network, pull the network cable through the bracket.
  3. Securely attach the PTZ camera to the bracket using screws.
  4. Crimp the network cable with an RJ 45 connector.
  5. Connect the crimped cable to the hermetic connector on the camera.
  6. If wall mounting, ensure that the wall is strong enough to support the camera’s weight and leave a clearance of 12mm.
  7. Use the provided drill template to mark the drilling points on the wall.
  8. Attach the bracket to the wall using four screws.
  9. Insert a micro SD card into the camera for storage (if required).
  10. Connect the necessary cables, such as Ethernet and power connectors, to the camera.
  11. Make sure the camera is powered off during installation.
  12. Refer to the quick start guide or user manual for further instructions and troubleshooting.

Introduction

  • This Speed Dome IP camera is designed for high-performance CCTV solutions. It adopts state-of-the-art video processing chips. It utilizes the most advanced technologies, such as video encoding and decoding technology, and complies with the TCP/IP protocol, SoC (System on chip), etc to ensure this system is more stable and reliable.
  • Complete manuals and CVM, Iptool.exe e Diskcalculator.exe software are available to download in the Product info sheet section of www.vimar.com website.

Install SD Card and Power Connection

Install Storage Card:

  1. Loosen the fixed screws of the rear as shown below (Fig. 1).
  2. Insert the SD card into the storage card slot (Fig. 2).
  3. Install back the cover back.

Camera Installation

Before start, please make sure that the wall is strong enough to withstand the weight of the camera. Please install the camera in a dry environment. The mounting steps are as follows:

  1. Pull the cables through the bracket. Mount the speed dome to the bracket (Fig. 3).
  2. Secure the speed dome to the bracket with the screws (Fig. 4).
  3. Drill the screw holes on the wall according to the drill template (Fig. 5).
  4. Drive the two screws to the holes indicated by the arrows and leave a 12mm clearance (Fig. 6).

Network Connections

Here we take accessing IP cameras via LAN for example. In LAN, there are two ways to access.

  1. Access through IP-Tool
  2. Directly Access through the Web page

Access the camera through IP-Tool

  1. Make sure that the camera and the PC are well connected to the LAN.
  2. download the IP-Tool Product info sheet section of www.vimar.com website and then install it in the computer. After that, run the IP Tool as shown below.VIMAR-46235025D-Speed-Dome-IP-4Mpx-Camera-fig-7
  3. Modify the IP address. The default IP address of this camera is 192.168.226.201. Click the information of the camera listed in the above table to show the network information on the right hand. Modify the IP address and gateway of the camera and make sure its network address is in the same local network segment as the computers. Please modify the IP address of your device according to the practical situation
  • For example, the IP address of your computer is 192.168.1.4. So the IP address of the camera shall be changed to 192.168.1.X.
  • After modification, please input the password of the administrator and click the “Modify” button to modify the setting.
  • The default password of the administrator is 123456.
  • Double-click the IP address and then the system will pop up the Web page to connect IP-CAM.
  • Follow the instructions to activate the device and change the default password.

Directly Access Through the Web page

  • The default network settings are as shown below:
  • IP address: 192.168.226.201 HTTP:80
  • Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0 Data Port:9008
  • Gateway: 192.168.226.1
  • Follow the instructions to activate the device and change the default password.

Cautions

    Avoid aiming the camera directly toward extremely bright objects, such as the sun, as this may damage the image sensor.

  • Please follow the instructions to install the camera. Do not reverse the camera, or the reversing image will be received.

  • Do not operate it in case temperature, humidity, and power supply are beyond the limited stipulations.

  • Keep away from heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves., etc.

  • This is product instructions, not a quality warranty. We may reserve the right of amending the typographical errors, inconsistencies with the latest version, software upgrades and product improvements, interpretation, and modification. Installation rules

  • Installation should be carried out by qualified staff in compliance with the current regulations regarding the installation of electrical equipment in the country where the products are installed.

WEEE – User information

  • If the crossed-out bin symbol appears on the equipment or packaging, this means the product must not be included with other general waste at the end of its working life. The user must take the worn product to a sorted waste center, or return it to the retailer when purchasing a new one.

The Data Subject must provide the password for access to its system when requesting help from the Vimar Support Centre so that related support can be provided. Provision of the password represents consent for processing. Each Data Subject is responsible for changing the password for access to its system on completion of the work carried out by the Vimar Support Centre.
