POWER RECLINER MOTOR & CABLE
Removal & Installation
1. Remove seat assembly. See SEAT ASSEMBLY . Remove outboard side shields to expose recliner and cable. See Fig 2 . Remove cable housing clip from cushion frame. Remove cable housing clamp from recliner transmission housing and remove drive cable.
2. Lay seat on its back on a clean surface. Remove 4 bolts attaching power seat track to cushion frame. Remove 2 motor attachment screws from power seat track cross strap. Disconnect recliner motor connectors. Remove recliner motor and cable assembly. For installation, reverse removal procedure. Ensure cable is equipped with a cable housing clip and clamp.
